- The Milanese have a saying:... Italy's financial heart is inherently un-Italian in mindset; Its destroy and rebuild progressive nature often times clashes with the more conservative and lackadaisical cities in the South. What Milan lacks in enchantment, it makes up for in refinement and grandeur. This is Milan as inspired by the film 8 1/2 by Federico Fellini:

This is great! So much great information, and really entertaining! Some Anthony Bourdain vibes. :) Love the black and white...and the red Campari! Well done and nice work!
Thanks for noticing the details and style!

I love that you were able to rent an apmt! That’s the best way to experience a city.
Every time I can!
Interesting man with his wonderful travels.
So underrated, man. This should have a million likes. Good job.
Thank you, Filipe. Share the video and maybe it’ll catch on a bit more. Cheers
Too bad to make the video black and white. In Milan the light is amazing and the colors too ...

Beautifully shot!
Thank you!
Amazing!! Definitely added to the vacation list
I really like your videos but prefer them in colour.
Nice, as an American living in Rome I thought you did great juxtaposing the two cities when presenting Milan and I found the BW to actually be very fitting in spite of the backlash you seemed to have generated among some. Will we see Mitchell’s Dolce Vita as well any time soon (not just travel tips for Rome)?
You look like that italian narc model (Mariano something) but with good vibes haha 😎 great edition skills bro regards from Mexico
Get this all the time 😂. Thank you 🙏🏻
Felini would be proud Mitch
Hermoso que buen trabajo señor michell travels mostrar ésas bellas es un lugar maravilloso

@@MitchellTravels Your welcome as always...u always help me to set my travel wishlist for future ❤
iiiiExcellent video Brother, I like that place. Thanks Bro for sharing your trips!!!!
I missed the premier due to time difference. So next day here i am ready to watch your new video. i was thinking.. : lets see what we will see today.... and suddenly BOOM!!! its black and white.... omg Mitchell !!!! What? I am speechless. I was not expecting that at all. An amazing idea, risky, perfectly executed, brilliant.
If that was a relationship and not watching a video on you tube, this move would make me fall in love with you..hehe..
Respect respect respect... :)
The main difference between Rome and Milan is that Rome welcomes you with its wonders, while in Milan you have to search for them!
I agree!
Love the black & white.
Wohoooo! Nice one :) I want to go to Europe someday! Totally appreciate your vid :)
Great presentation and story telling! Any plan to show us cities and cultures in Spain?!
Nice one Mitchell...love this trip Milan in B&W
Thank you as always, Grace! 😎
Wery well done!!
Love Fellini and this is too cool
Milan is wonderful... The true Italian economical engine stuffed in a big modern working city. And I come from the neighborhood region east side 😁
Very true 💪🏻
Virgy di la verità che te lo saresti fatto un Campari con lui, anche a casa tua...
Wow amzing vlog!!!
My city. I miss you. Mi Manchi
hey Mitchell, I usually like your work and enjoy your narration and insights immensely...especially as a solo traveler...but this vid not so much...its not bad at all and as usual some great insights and wonderful narration....rather then poo poo the long line and the cathedral for example, I would like to know how to avoid such a line...I did feel like this one tried a bit too hard but hey...everyones a critic....keep up the good work and I look forward to future travels.
Critique is always welcome, so long as it’s objective and constructive and not senseless trolling; which is is what tends to be the norm on UA-cam.
This episode is styled to be an homage to Fellini (hence the b&w, pacing, etc) and so maybe that’s why it felt try-hard for you. I appreciate the feedback and your viewership though, Don!
PS: the Mitchell way to avoid the line was drinking a Negroni and admiring the plaza
@@MitchellTravels totally on board with you Mitchell...actually id like to hear more on the challenges of being a solo traveler...I already saw your excellent vid on the subject and wonder if you have any other tips on avoiding that crushing lonliness that can happen if you spend too much time alone on a jorney....that's a BIG challenge for me. in any event thanks for explaining about the fellini reference...fellini bergman et al generally make me itch and not in a good way...thanks for all you do.
I will say, Don, that it helps that I shoot a lot and that occupies much of my day. Enjoying the ambience is key to really not needing people around you 😎
I didn't quite understand the comparison with Rome. Like why do you have to compare them? Have you ever been in other norther Italian places? It's nonsense just try to compare them in the way you did. Why don't you compare Venezia with Napoli. The beauty in Italy is also our diversity. Art, story and food are different just 10km away from place to place in Italy.
That #MitchellInsight tho 👍
Como es que se llama la canción del comienzo?
Jaja se llama figaro
Is Brera too expensive to stay in??
Is it true that you’re a flight attendant for Spirit Airlines ?
False 🧐
il tubo bianco e nero!!!!
Lmao 😂
Dude. Your vids rock. But turn on the damn color.
The style of the episode is inspired by Fellini’s films lol
Whats with the monochrome filter? I don’t like it
If you post content once a month only, your subscribers won't grow fast.
You’re not wrong. Unfortunately, it’s a one man show and between traveling/shooting and producing this type of higher quality episode, it has become a challenge
@@MitchellTravels I'm telling you because I really think you deserve to have more subscribers. I really like the quality and chill vibes of your contents. You've got to figure out how to post more frequently because that's how it works, if your goal is to make your channel big. 😊 All the best!
@@MrIknowwhatiwant Thank you for the kind words. This is why, starting this week, I will be releasing short compilation videos of the IG stories from each place I visited on my recent trip to SE Asia, so stay tuned for that. The regular, high quality episodes will follow. Perhaps this will help grow faster!
