Turning ai slop into actual, functioning art. You literally make this world a better place. I also feel like working on my own art and writing whenever I watch your videos. Simply incredible, hardworking, inspirational.
@@SodawarsGamingyeah, AI is a tool that has some good uses, as a musician it’s so much easier to ask chatGPT “can you list music venues and promoters near [my location] with contact information” than to google and make a list one by one
I’ve become fully biased to Burls. There are lots of “building guitars out of crazy things” vids out there now but our boy here started all of it with the colored pencil vid. Gotta pay respect to the OG. Not sure he gets the props he deserve for essentially giving birth to a full subgenre of UA-cam videos
The texture left on the outside by the foil tape made it look like a block of ice. I am sure you could come up with another great guitar that looks like a chunk of ice.
Glad you know better than to put fish in it and sorry about the shrimp. May they rest in peace. It's a very fun concept, very whimsical. Would love to see an update on how the plants are doing in the future!
That turned out great. RIP shrimp - but hopefully you can try again. I wonder if you could make a plug that would seal off the top access port. It would just need to seal enough to reduce splashes when moving the guitar for a demo play/ maintenance and putting it back on the wall.
You have a very unique way of having an unusual idea, then seeking the means and methods to acquire that vision. Keep up the excellent work! Immediately liked. Let's go!
While not practical by any means, I love the commitment to keeping it functional rather than just a gimmicky art piece. It could also be the perfect candidate for a Submarine pickup in a future follow-up.
Very cool. I assumed we were talking about a clear guitar body that looked like an aquarium with a resin pour over aquarium decor. Can't believe you included a power head! Awesome.
Poor shrimp. It's almost funny how they all just got sucked up, though. Like they were fine and then all just wandered too close to the pump and that was it. Have you thought about adding any moss balls to the tank? Very nice aquarium, though! Glad you weren't tempted to color the resin. I thought when you were talking about the playability, you were joking, and then cut to you actually playing it full of water and plants and substrate! Commitment to the bit if I ever saw it! And it actually sounds good! Great job!
You’ve clearly been working on your guitar skills as well! I was surprised how much better the guitar sounded with the body filled with water/soil/plants.
Dude. You're crazy. In a good way, of course. Of all the builds you've done, this is by far the most outlandish one in terms of creativity, vision, and improbable combinations of worlds. An aquarium guitar. Go figure! Thanks for sharing your mad genius with us, Burls. I look forward to the next one!
A working tv guitar. Get the super guitar bros to play some final fantasy songs on it while someone paying the game on the guitar screen. This guitar build is amazing btw. All your stuff is super good
it all started with those colored pencil guitar builds and i watched all those and now we have this aquarium guitar. Sick man. Your creativity is out of this world
I was thinking that if it was mounted to a stand, away from the wall, you could just reach over it and play. You just know that visitors are going to want to hear it. Awesome job, again.
Many years ago I stumbled upon a band called Brother and Sister and their website showed odd guitars one of them had built. One of them was what I think they called the Ant Farmitar. It was an acrylic body with some kind of algae-based gel in it where ants could live and tunnel without other food or water and the gel was said to be able to retain their tunnels even through playing. This build reminds me of that.
Just when I think you can't possibly do anything more wild and impressive, you do it. I absolutely love your work sir. Also the aluminum tape texture on the epoxy was kinda cool it looked like ice!
It is always a pleasant surprise whenever I see one of your videos pop up. This is incredible! I'm not sure if this is possible, but if you did a fake aquarium and filled it with the epoxy. Giving it the appearance of an aquarium, but less of a challenge to play. All in all, this is amazing, and your explanation of the experience is fantastic.
I love this! I love all your guitars and videos but this is just amazing! I worked at PetSmart for a few years and I love that you know your stuff too about how to care for the animals and plants! Best guitar lol
If you don't plan on having live plants or animals in a future aquarium guitar you could use mineral oil instead of water! I think it would be easier to keep clean and maintain over time, also you wouldn't need to worry about isolating the electronics either given it's non conductive. Over all very cool, I'm impressed you actually made it into a working aquarium while being playable!
You do not disappoint! Amazing build. I’m not an expert either, but there are for sure fish that would be fine in that small of a tank. Beta for sure could do it, maybe tetras? It would be worth researching.
*Wow now that is different. 🙂 Not sure what you were playing at the end.... but I closed my eyes and it was really soothing and relaxing listening to those sounds. 🙂nz*
You could make another one of these guitars and instead of an aquarium, take apart an Intel NUC or some other tiny computer and stuff it into this clear guitar. The computer guitar could be its own recording station. It would just need the regular jack for an amp but then one more jack for monitor output. Or you could put a little screen on the body somewhere. A portable computer that's also a guitar has a lot of interesting uses.
Well done. I'd like to see this project done with fake plans set into epoxy like AI image you had. Even do a water + blue oil combination so it gives it that ocean effect. Really over do the coral reef vibes
The maintenance on this tank will eventually make you take it down, mark my words. The stem plants you chose grow extremely fast, but the carpeting plant will do you in eventually -- it will cover the entire substrate floor, and since the stem plants will be so thick it will be impossible to trim. Eventually the carpet will get so thick that it will block light to the bottom, which will then die, and the whole carpet will float to the top. Also, no livestock = algae explosion
You should tune it open C
underrated comment!
Sometimes drop C
If you made that up yourself, congrats. Love it.
OP have my babies that was 🤌 *chef's kiss*
Absolutely
Now we need a TERRARIUM GUITAR
I really like this idea, and it could be designed either vertically or lefty to be different from the aquarium guitar ( and maybe a spider)
a big antfarm :P
you could do that with this one.
Yes
pretty damn dope! Big props for not putting fish in it! Some seriously nice playing as well!
we need a "hp" review on this.
Two Burls Art videos in two weeks? Awesome!
A closed terrarium guitar would be pretty cool
Turning ai slop into actual, functioning art. You literally make this world a better place. I also feel like working on my own art and writing whenever I watch your videos. Simply incredible, hardworking, inspirational.
Honestly, it's the best way to use that kind of AI, as just a way to do quick and dirty visualization of what something might look like.
@@SodawarsGamingyeah, AI is a tool that has some good uses, as a musician it’s so much easier to ask chatGPT “can you list music venues and promoters near [my location] with contact information” than to google and make a list one by one
It’s like AI is just another tool for creators and is completely misunderstood and villainized by idiots who think terminator is real
Now you have the experience for a ship in a guitar bottle build! Nicely done.

Here I am unable to make a guitar out of wood from trees.
I subscribed this account more than a year ago. I still haven't seen a bad guitar
Just the opposite, when I think that the next project cannot be more crazy, he just delivers it! 😀
The texture left on the outside by the foil tape made it look like a block of ice. I am sure you could come up with another great guitar that looks like a chunk of ice.
Didn't expect you to play it at the end and so well. Much respect.
Glad you know better than to put fish in it and sorry about the shrimp. May they rest in peace. It's a very fun concept, very whimsical. Would love to see an update on how the plants are doing in the future!
RIP, little shrimpies.
That turned out great.
RIP shrimp - but hopefully you can try again.

"I whipped up a quick maple and rosewood neck. Nothing special." LOL

Oh Dang, perfect timing, and first time I’ve been right here for a Burls Art upload. Can’t wait to see the result!
THAT THING LOOKS GNARLY HOLY SHITTTT
This is by far the most beautiful guitar I’ve ever seen. This immediately took me back to when I watched the show, Tanked
I had the same thought!
Awesome.
Gotta love that tone water. Really emphasizes the deep end, but still so clear 😂
R.I.P to the baby scrimps
Awesome work man. You should do a version with fake plants and fish and epoxy it solid so you can actually play it, like a aquarium diorama guitar.
Poor shrimp. It's almost funny how they all just got sucked up, though. Like they were fine and then all just wandered too close to the pump and that was it. This guitar build is amazing btw. All your stuff is super good
The playing demo really has that drip. Super fun build!
Is it just me, or has even your playing gotten much better? Great job!
Dude your patience and level of detail is incredible. I'm so impatient whenever I attempt to build something. It's great to watch you work
I think adding a blue led strip around the top edge would be a nice touch.
it all started with those colored pencil guitar builds and i watched all those and now we have this aquarium guitar. Sick man. Your creativity is out of this world
I was thinking that if it was mounted to a stand, away from the wall, you could just reach over it and play. You just know that visitors are going to want to hear it. Awesome job, again.
This is one of the coolest builds you've done. Very nice!
I have a feeling that you get these types of ideas when you are in the shower or sitting in the toilet!! amazing work!!
Sitting in the toilet is where all great ideas come from
Always a pleasure to watch you build these ideas into reality. Bravo.
Poor shrimp :( awesome project though!
imagine being a shrimp in the tank and suddenly having your whole habitat lifted up and start vibrating
Cool musical piece at the end

those shrimp experienced finding nemo irl except instead of escaping into the sea they died in a water circulator
Most people: My 9 pound LP is too heavy.
Burls Art: I'mma play a 20 pound fish tank.
Amazing art project. Keep up the amazing work.
Any bass player would be perfectly content with that weight.
Just when I think you can't possibly do anything more wild and impressive, you do it. I absolutely love your work sir. Also the aluminum tape texture on the epoxy was kinda cool it looked like ice!
You make really inspiring musical instruments. Thank you for sharing it with us!
So impressive! Fantastic looking piece. I reckon you should do the foam screen addition and put in a couple of neons.
Looks and sound cool, great job
What a great body choice for the aquarium!
Very cool. Thanks for sharing the process!!
Well done for keeping posting the mistakes. That's the bit that helps us all
The sound and the look is amazing!!!
This is unbeleafable! Time to turnip the volume!
I love it when he says "output jack".
As an aquarist, I love everything about this

Huge amount of talent!..Great job.
This is absolutely incredible. An aquarium and a playable guitar is something i never thought would exist until now. 👍
Great work. And very nice playing.
Dude, this is unbelievably amazing!
one of the best youtubers of all time. beyond talented
Best sounding aquarium ive heard! And oh yea it looks fantastic too!
Wake up babe, new Burls Art guitar build vid dropped
I love this! I love all your guitars and videos but this is just amazing! I worked at PetSmart for a few years and I love that you know your stuff too about how to care for the animals and plants! Best guitar lol
This is how ai should be used. As inspiration for art not as the “art” itself. Super dope guitar with a super dope concept
Sorry but this is one of the best sounding guitar in terms of vibes you made (sounds realy fun to play)
When you want to throw up your guitar, meanwhile fishes in it 🤞
Omg you killed the shrimp!!!
Can;t wait to hear the benefits of tonewater
This is 100% the coolest thing you made until now
Pretty awesome wall art!
Always here for the demo day

This is your most beautiful build to date!
A cell phone guitar where every strum is swiping right on a dating app. 😂
I bet Masayoshi Takanaka would love this.
Cool functional art.
So many people would buy this if it was a buyable product. Insane idea to reality, can’t wait for the next build🤙🏼
You do not disappoint! Amazing build. I’m not an expert either, but there are for sure fish that would be fine in that small of a tank. Beta for sure could do it, maybe tetras? It would be worth researching.
Cool 😎
AWESOME.
Mike Espo .
SOOO KOOOOLLLLLL .
👍👍👍👍👍
I never thought I'd hear the sentence "you don't want to spill your guitar"
That's awesome dude. Great imagination.
Man you are an amazing artist and one hell of a craftsman!
*Wow now that is different. 🙂 Not sure what you were playing at the end.... but I closed my eyes and it was really soothing and relaxing listening to those sounds. 🙂nz*
WOW
Another great vid She looks awesome and sounds nice also.
Thanks so much Burls Art 🫡
Excellent surprise this morning. I'll put a kettle on..
You are a genius man, great and admirable work 👏👏
another Epic build. tone water is a thing. RIP shrimps.

Amazing. Congratulations
The first thing I thought of was Disco Stu's aquarium shoes lol
bro took the "play music to your plants" wayyy too serious
I really like, then AI comes to real life buildings. I call it the "Guitarium". Well done!
somewhere off in the distance serpa design’s display tank set up senses are tingling…..
such a fun silly project, love it!
Well done. I'd like to see this project done with fake plans set into epoxy like AI image you had. Even do a water + blue oil combination so it gives it that ocean effect. Really over do the coral reef vibes
get home from work and a burls vid... hell yeah brother
Awesome build, good job
Very nice project!

"Yo, look at that AI image of an aquarium guitar"
"Hold my picks"
Builds what AI generated
