3) Vermilion Pt. Obsession
4) Sympathy for the Devil in I
5) The Greatest Conclusion
6) Colin Firth is Pissed
7) Malice!

10:01 pinhead and V-man, man this part is incredible, the bass solo😭😭😭❤
Yes. Love it.
Nn foi o jim q gravou?
@@lucaspaulo6562 não né brother, o Jim não é baixista, quem toca baixo é o Alessandro Venturella
@@viniciuspinheiro77 mas quem fez o baixo do gray chapter foi o jim.
@@lucaspaulo6562 YES, JIM PLAYED BASS ON GRAY CHAPTER. V MAN PLAYED LIVE.
Sending lots of love to the Maggots on this Maggot Monday! Thanks for being here. Love you guys. :)
React to slipknot most insane concert moments any video you want
Nice try on guessing what AOV stood for 🤣
Happy Columbus Day also!!!!!
I would like to see your reaction to nomadic specifically the lyrics as well as the music
It's a song about communication. After Paul died the band was a mess, everybody hating each other for some reason but nobody actually saying anything.
"Approaching Original Violence" it's something like "tell me why you're are mad, the real reason", it shows the importance of talking to the ones you love and show how you really feel.
Edit: If you want a song with prominent bass, listen to Confessions from MFKR album. Hehe.
Now u see why it's my second favorite slipknot song behind Custer
plus it has one of my favorite lines that I 100% agree with
Life can do with one less watered-down excuse
Heavily suggest "Spiders" for more of Pinhead. He really shines in that song.
I think thats corey playing piano :)
@@marsu9444 its clown actually, jay said it when he did breakdown to the whole wanyk album
Idk. if she didn't like gehenna she may not like that one since it's different, might as well just list all the similar sounding songs 🤷
Oh it’s on her list, or so she says…😂🤣 kidding Lauren
Well I think what happened was lots of us were recommending songs that we thought would float her boat more, as it were, than something like Disasterpiece did, and not just our own favorites, but then a bunch of hooligans made her listen to Scissors and Heretic Anthem and shit and now she's totally hardcore.
(Also Spiders totally jams.)
Nobody talks about how that was a BASS solo and it was so so good. It's easily my favorite part of the song. AOV is easily one of my favorite songs.
Lauren at the beginning of this channel: This is not a Slipknot reaction channel
Also Lauren: I would do Slipknot everyday if I could and that would be it
I think it's safe to say you're a maggot now Lamooo
One of my absolute favourite things about this song and maybe the whole album is that keg part at the end. It has the same energy as a drum roll which they've featured a few times on Vol. 3 and All Hope Is Gone, but a way different flavour doing it on the rim of the keg.
Theres a video for you to check out called "Banging Kegs with Clown #6" if you want to see Clown unmasked going in depth with a fan about the kegs, how he plays them, why they started using kegs ect.
True, true. :D
That keg video keeps popping up on my recommended page but I have yet to watch. One day.
Joey. "I don't want to watch another brother die" was when they kicked Joey because they thought he was drugged out. But he actually had a neurological disease.
It's a tough listen now that Joey is gone.
Approaching Original Violence
Heard Corey say it was written after they had a closed door “b*tch fest” after the dismissal of Joey and the death of Paul, where they all yelled at each other about what was bothering them. Something along those lines.
I definitely think every heavy bass section since Paul’s death is a nod to Paul, and I think this whole album is influenced by Paul (probably some Joey as well (good and bad)).
Hell yea, it’s October! Perfect month to do a Slipknot month!😉😂
Underrated song, and the album in general, in my opinion.
My Plague next ? I believe you’ll like it, one of my favorite songs from them if not the favorite
she will get to it
Custer is next
Been watching your Slipknot reactions and they've been amazing! All of their music is top tier metal.
I feel really dumb right now. All these years since the release of this album and only now I've understood what AOV means lol
I agree, since .5 Corey is at his best both vocally and lyrically
I do think is about Joey. Corey always said Joey left the band because they decided to go their separate ways or something like that. I noticed that they all started to take better care of their health after Paul's death, and this is very clear even in their appearance. I think joey wasn't in this same place , not because he didn't want to, but his was just not there. I know about his illness, but I never believed it was just that. Many things in this lyrics fit this situation. Anyway, is just what I think. I don't know if what I said made any sense lol
AOV. Approaching Original Violence 👍🏻
My favorite song by them!!! Glad you enjoyed it, I cannot wait now for tool this week also my favorite song you will be reacting too. This is gonna be a good week. Happy maggot monday!!!
I know it's the wrong video for this but...VICARIOUSLY IIIIIIIIIIIII LIVE WHILE THE WHOLE WORLD DIES!
Love. that. song. I can't wait either. I'm posting it Friday. :)
My favourite song as well along with solway firth
My personal favorite Slipknot song! I've been loving the band from the beginning and have shifted favorites over the years but this one sits at the top.
One of my all time favorite Slipknot songs.
You gotta do Slipknot- (sic) live at Download 2009!
'Metabolic'
'The Shape'
'Gently'
'Get This' are all a must aswell!
Uh, not this again. The Download 2009 isn't all that, seriously.
@@FlyboyHelosim what?
what do you think of an album react for the new one whenever it comes out?
I love how much you're into Slipknot now
for me it's the best Slipknot song
Great track! I'm in the camp that thinks this could be about Joey, but I could be completely wrong.
P.S. - I'm not even going to say how long it took me to figure out what AOV meant, so you're not alone lol
Giggity!!!
Approaching Original Violence
I miss Corey's Iowa album mask and clowns Iowa mask with the brain showing. I miss Jim's first mask from self titled album
Yes, I love this album because it have a great variety of Corey vocal performance, I consider this as an hardcore version of Vol 3.
Approaching Original Violence AOV 🤘🏻🐐
UNBELIEVABLE show in Holmdel NJ last night , Slipknot live for my first time last night,LAUREN you gotta see them Live
The more songs I hear, the more I'm thinking you're right. :D Stoked for you though! That's awesome!
Please react to "new" Corey! Stone Sour - I Can't Believe (1994). You never hear this side of him! This is gold
I need to get back to Stone Sour! This will go on the next poll. :)
@@MusicCatsandCoffee yeeeeaa. Young Corey
Their best song for me
Another underrated song by them.
This is polished wild, intelligent Slipknot.
The intro verse sounds too much like Stone Sour's Audio Secrecy to me
Approaching Original Violence
To me AOV means the Original Violence is just hate or simply getting mad. Before you take action. That to me is AOV
I don't remember if you've done Spit it Out but if you haven't then check out the live version Download 2009 :D
Rapping Corey for the whole song
Dynamo 2000 version is better.
Careful with uploading Custer to UA-cam lol the chorus repeats the word fuck probably 6 times each chorus lol
come to my seafood restaurant, it has awesome octopus variety
Mmmmm spiritbox photo
:)
it isn't Jay. It's Joey. You should check out 'Asylum' by Vended. It's an up-&-coming band made up of Corey's son Griffin and Clown's son Simon. They basically sound like the self-titled album. I think you'll like it
it was jay the grey chapter was the first studio album to feature their current drummer Jay Weinberg and bassist Alessandro Venturella and the final studio album to feature percussionist Chris Fehn before his firing in March 18, 2019
@@HellSpartanZ Jim recorded bass. V man joined after the album was recorded.
Jim said that in an interview
@@Chaz1134 I guess the interview with jay I got that from was wrong then
WANYK next?
Custer! But after that, yes. :)
3 song encore People=shit Sic and Surfacing to finish us off
I only know the first of these, but I'm sure that was an epic encore. :D
I've reached the point where I can tell when you're about to pause the video by the way you scrunch your nose.
Love this. :)
@@MusicCatsandCoffee We're becoming one, you and I lol. Not only are we all witnessing your transformation into a maggot but you're now witnessing my transformation into a member of Lauren's Legion =] I don't know if Lauren's Legion is a thing yet, but I hope it becomes a thing.
i thought you are a slow one..
The mixed tenses in your comment has made its meaning unclear. I will say, however, if a zombie apocalypse were to happen, I'd be one of the first to go. Enjoy your weekend! :)
I will be fully honest, his voice in this era was a problem for me, just as it happened with volume 3, those two have the worst sounding vocals in my opinion I repeat MY OPINION if you like them it is perfectly fine, I mean I love self titled-iowa vocals but that style destroyed Corey's voice completely so it all comes down to opinion, if you want my opinion as a singer his best voice is his actual voice, he now has a healthy technique that sounds great
The lyrics on this album were terrible. You can really tell that Joey and Paul weren't involved. Musically the songs are also very basic.
I completely agree with you. Before this album was released I was already disappointed knowing Joey and Paul were not going to be involved, but I still gave this album a fair chance when it was released. Didn't care much for it then and still don't, it's a boring listen.
@@ResurrectionDreams Yeah, I only bought it as it supposed to be a 'tribute' to Paul, as such. It's the last physical album I'll ever buy of Slipknot though.
thanks for your opinion dude
