Xcelerator Testing Over 100mph at Knott's Berry Farm

- When Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm was in testing, it was rumored that Cedar Fair wanted to confirm that the launch system would be able to handle the speed planned for Top Thrill Dragster (120mph vs Xcelerator's 83mph). This video includes shots of:
- The 100mph+ launch with a testing paint scheme (both yellow and purple).
- A rollback.
- Successful test runs at normal speeds with Sandor Kernacs, President of Intamin AG and others.

You think the negative Gs on that top hat would give you a red out with the train going 100mph?
Probably, it’s most 3x more powerful than rmc ejector, and that stuff is wild as is 💀
Also the pull-up and pull out of the top hat as well, kingda ka goes 100mph+ but it’s top hat is 450 ft to compensate for that but in the pull up into the top hat pulls 5 gs, I can only imagine how much gs a 200ft top hat would be. also people talk about how they grey out on the overbanks, image what forces they would pull with 20+ mph extra, would probably be even more forceful than I305’s turn (god I’m overthinking this 💀)
