Saffy a good one for when you are just so tired and you really can't be arsed, is leave everything on the bike, and use a bivi bag or a poncho tired down off the bike, saves putting up a tent, just roll in and sleep.
I am addicted to following your amazing adventures Saffy, I find I myself veering from tears to joy and back again as you share your highs and lows. Your videos and commentry are second to none. I simply dont know where you get your strength and endurance ! You are simply amazing.
No matter how hard it is sometimes, I believe that you have collected enough memories from all your travels for three lifetimes. Don't lose your smile.❤
When you do your next trip, you want to take a decent bivvy bag with you for nights when you arrive late at your destination camp site and are too knackered to put the tent up. You just put your mattress, pillow and sleeping bag in it and it takes about 2 minutes.
Hi Saffy you're doing great as always! I don't know how far on your trip you are but if you put in shelterplads for Denmark and Rasteplass in GMaps for Norway you may find some really great free camping spots, most with water , a toilet, a sleeping shelter and free wood for a fire - and it doesn't matter what time you get there. Does mean spending some time planning your stops but I've just spent a month up there without being on a campsite once....which really helped with the budget.

@@SaffySprocket Sometimes it’s a necessary evil, we did that once riding to Poland we soon learnt our lesson having done hours on the German autobahn, on the way back we took a couple extra days and had an amazing time riding slower and through the Netherlands which was unexpectedly amazing
It’s seems most of your trips end up with too many miles covered over an extremely long day, then you have to set up camp. Perhaps consider taking a hotel between campsites, and taking shorter legs when you plan to camp would help with the fatigue.
Beautiful footage, through the forest and over the water! I have a suggestion regarding your soft luggage. Try using non-elastic straps (see Mosko Moto’s Backcountry Cinch Straps and the company’s videos about how to use them). Once in place and cinched down, they do not loosen. They also double as a tow line if needed. Even better, see whether Mosko Moto would care to join your charitable efforts by sponsoring you. 😊
Time for a hotel room and a good restaurant meal! This video reminds me of my past motorcycle adventures and the exhaustion after a long day of riding. Hang in there Saffy...we're all rooting for you!

Well Sassy you made it to the North Sea! I admire your determination with the late night camping shenanigans. I guess one bonus is you must sleep like a log. My European camping plans hopefully involve a late evening swim in a pool + beer haha.
I admire your determination! I've mentioned this before but, if luggage space is limited, especially for clothing, then consider using vacuum bags. They enable you to carry perhaps three or four times the amount of clothing in the same space. Also, being airtight, they have the bonus of being completely waterproof. I've used them for years and wouldn't be without them now.
@@SaffySprocket There are two types: one version has a one-way valve and you just roll them up to push the air out and the other type comes with a really small USB powered vacuum pump, which is about half the size of a drinks can. Google JML Vac Pack. Happy travels!
