Right I can now give an update and a theory on what happened in todays video . Firstly it wasn’t a disaster and when I turned the video off we got 20 birds in the next 10mins ? So now for the theory there is one or two feds 30mins almost to the second ahead of our federation so one of two things happened . Firstly both our head conveyors were in France dealing with the channel race so have the baskets been put on the wrong wagons , meaning our federation was released 30mins later ? This for me seems the most likely as it seems the equivalent of maybe 2 baskets worth of pigeons 30mins clear . For our birds to come as they did clocking 20birds in 10mins says we got a great race and we are only 2 birds missing which will hopefully drop in over the next few hours . The second scenario is for some reason a small batch of birds have somehow got 30mins clear over 189 miles , but the discrepancy in the times is uncanny almost 30mins to the second and there were 30 mins between each liberation today . I guess we will never know but the good news is it certainly wasn’t a disaster and I just wish I had kept the camera running for another 10mins as I left the video thinking we weren’t going to get many more back and you could all have seen how well they came

a strange day throughout the uk boys looking forwards to next weeks video just wondering if you can add some eye pictures of the main stock if one of you can hold the bird in the sun you should manage on a camera phone cheers boys
Recent subscriber, I do like the videos, used to help a mate with his birds years ago. How do you find out when say some birds return to Sunderland first, heard you talk about Ryhope too the other week and I just live next door to there near where Maurice Surtees listed loft is. By the way your birds trap brilliant !!
