Hey I have a 2017 q60 and just received my Helmholtz sport exhaust. I'm not car savvy and want to save money doing it myself but the hanger it has a rubber boot to it do I have to remove that piece off in order the slide the exhaust off?
Good video! Going to pick this up but was wondering if it’s ok to put the car in a slanted driveway? I have a jack and two ramps you have... I never put a exhaust system on before but this seems easy enough so I rather not pay anyone.
Yo what's up man. This sounds great but do u have any other mods at this point when you put this on? Reason I ask is bc I've heard this before on my buddy's car and it doesnt sound as good.
If you have only mufflers yes. But if you delete your X-Y pipe and test pipes they sound horrible. So if you only looking to mod your muffler they’re good.
How's it going. Not sure if I was reading that this exhaust has a little challenge when trying to get muffles even with the bumper. Did you have any issues with alignment with the bumper?
Buddy I love the video and all but where is the comparison to the regular exhaust? Smh would have left a like but I simply can’t considering that you forgot to show us the other q50s start up.
@@jaychanics5969 My only concern is how I am going to center the exhaust tips. Might just heat the bends with a torch and put a pipe in the tip to straighten them out. I am OCD about things lining up perfectly. I just can't pass up that sound for the price. Thanks for this vid saved me a ton of money.
Thanks, Nice video and you showed everything perfectly.
Zero Her0 nb, glad I helped
Sub to keep up with all the mods I will be uploading
Was wondering about this axle back. Great job and thanks for posting this 👍
Arty Coole sub to stay up with all the mods I’ll be uploading 🙌🏼
@@jaychanics5969 fo sho!
I have this axel back on my 2014 Q50 and its really a great balance
Does it affect the mpg ? Or you still getting the same as before
Yoooo any idea on the size of the gasket? And also do you need a torque spec for the bolts at the connection? Thanks man!

Can you drop the link where you bought this? It is out of stock everywhere!
Ryan Solanki redline360.com back in stock
I have this setup as well but with resonator delete and y pipe. I just don’t like that the tips are rusting on my rev9
Nathan Marrero nice 👍🏼 and damn sucks! Did you maintain them ? Or you would’ve clean them properly?
How much did it cost
Just got some Remark Axle back for my Q50 did you have to losen the hangar bolts? Or did you just slide the exhaust in the hangar?

Very simple, just be safe and chuck the wheels, so if you have a couple 2x4’s laying around use them to chuck the wheels to stop the car from rolling
How did u get the tips to fit good ? My right one is low

I got a 2.0 and have downpipes and JB4. Looking to order an axleback but idk which one to get
Will this work on a 3.0 red sport ?
Sadly no, but I’m sure the procedure is similar if you get an axle back exhaust
How's it going. Not sure if I was reading that this exhaust has a little challenge when trying to get muffles even with the bumper. Did you have any issues with alignment with the bumper?
Paul Orias yes it barley clears the bumper so if you have a diffuser or even plan on getting one it might hit it.
Yessss !!
3.7 or 3.0t ?
So do the tips line up good? Any drone in the cab? They do sound good tho. Thanks for the vid.
dlincourt1 zero drone in cab! And the pipes are a little off nothing major the hangers alone perfect and that’s all that matters! 👍🏼
any drone?
I know this videos old but wanted to ask how’s it been holding up ?
Like a champ
Sounds even better
How is it holding up after 5 months ?
Same
nice!
Any lights came up?
Doubt it not with an axle back
So it doesn’t fit a 2.0t q50?
Have you found any that fit a 2.0t ?
@@itsangelbaby6521 there’s a website that says it fits all models
For this one tho the rev 9 axel
Nice. Is yours 3.0t?
No, I have a 3.7 so it gives it a deeper sound
@@jaychanics5969 will it work on a 3.0 red sport ???
Any drone at cruising speed?
acejacks00 nope, no drone at cruise it sounds just right 👌🏼
Axle back rev9 made almost no difference in sound at all. Little at cold start but that’s it!

How do they sound after 10 months?
Same as the first day
Seems like this could be done without even jacking the car up.
Probably but it would be a PITA
