Infiniti Q50 rev 9 axle back exhaust install
Installing rev9 axle back exhaust on infiniti Q50s. Can fit models from 14-18 I believe as long as it is 3.5- 3.7 engine.

This video pretty much explains what has to be removed in order to get access to the pump.
Yoooo any idea on the size of the gasket? And also do you need a torque spec for the bolts at the connection? Thanks man!

Doubt it not with an axle back
Axle back rev9 made almost no difference in sound at all. Little at cold start but that’s it!
Seems like this could be done without even jacking the car up.

Hey I have a 2017 q60 and just received my Helmholtz sport exhaust. I'm not car savvy and want to save money doing it myself but the hanger it has a rubber boot to it do I have to remove that piece off in order the slide the exhaust off?
Please can you reply you never did step by step before you disconnect Solenoid and Never show how to remove the sensor Did you have to remove the transfer case
Just got some Remark Axle back for my Q50 did you have to losen the hangar bolts? Or did you just slide the exhaust in the hangar?

Sadly no, but I’m sure the procedure is similar if you get an axle back exhaust

No, I have a 3.7 so it gives it a deeper sound

Good video! Going to pick this up but was wondering if it’s ok to put the car in a slanted driveway? I have a jack and two ramps you have... I never put a exhaust system on before but this seems easy enough so I rather not pay anyone.
Very simple, just be safe and chuck the wheels, so if you have a couple 2x4’s laying around use them to chuck the wheels to stop the car from rolling

Yo what's up man. This sounds great but do u have any other mods at this point when you put this on? Reason I ask is bc I've heard this before on my buddy's car and it doesnt sound as good.
If you have only mufflers yes. But if you delete your X-Y pipe and test pipes they sound horrible. So if you only looking to mod your muffler they’re good.

@@jaychanics5969 My only concern is how I am going to center the exhaust tips. Might just heat the bends with a torch and put a pipe in the tip to straighten them out. I am OCD about things lining up perfectly. I just can't pass up that sound for the price. Thanks for this vid saved me a ton of money.
I have this setup as well but with resonator delete and y pipe. I just don’t like that the tips are rusting on my rev9

How's it going. Not sure if I was reading that this exhaust has a little challenge when trying to get muffles even with the bumper. Did you have any issues with alignment with the bumper?
Paul Orias yes it barley clears the bumper so if you have a diffuser or even plan on getting one it might hit it.
So do the tips line up good? Any drone in the cab? They do sound good tho. Thanks for the vid.
dlincourt1 zero drone in cab! And the pipes are a little off nothing major the hangers alone perfect and that’s all that matters! 👍🏼

What symptoms had the car? I have same error with my car. In cold mornings the transmision yellow fault comes on
E Eugene the car was pulling and would stay stuck in 3rd gear after a complete stop
JayChanics Thanks for reply! I have the errors Po715 and Po720 I will check the output transmision speed sensor first. How much was the sensor? Thank you
E Eugene the sensor is 300 dollars, and yes those codes are very specific so it will 100 percent fix your problem, remember to put Mini Cooper auto trans fluid only if you replace it
JayChanics I checked the diagram transmision and are 2 sensors (output & input). Before you change the input sensor you checked with the voltmeter?
E Eugene no bc I was only getting p0715, but if I were you I’d replace both if I’m already that far into the transmission
This looks like a pain in the ass to do and my water pump is failing fuck!!!
Wow just realized that replacing my water pump (as simple as it sounds) IS NOT GOING TO BE SO SIMPLE!! 😡😡😡
