I've waited for this moment since Tri. While I played Tri, I read about the White Fatalis, heard his godly theme and saw his fighting style. And since then, I wanted to challenge him one day. Unfortunately, the wait was long. I skipped 4 Ultimate due to exhaustion, but to be honest, playing on the 3DS wasn't that great for me. But now, in Generations Ultimate, I get my chance to meet the god I fear. It'll be long before I can finally take him on, but I'll be prepared for MY 'ultimate' final battle!! And when I strike you down as a prowler, I prove myself to be a worthy challenger for any other dragon elders that may come in my path.
A very similar story to my own, except mine starts in mhfu. Always loved the fatalis trio but never fought them. I skipped end game in mh4u because of very similar 3ds issues. In mhgu, I can finally do what i wanted to do since mhfu; solo the trio with my one and only weapon class, the lbg.
I started in Tri too, and I'm closer to him in 4U than GU. I'll get to him in both... although, I do have FU emulated. ON MOBILE GIADROME WAS ALREADY HARD ON MOBILE

When I finally encounter him with my best friend for our first time, it was everything we had hoped for. A 500 hour journey, amounting to this. We died, numerous times, until we got farther and farther and eventually won. And we did it again and again and again... Finally, I could face him alone. I overcame Death itself. We met again in 4U, but it wasn’t the same. He was nerfed. Now, I see he’s back in GU. With Prowlers getting hit with the nerf stick hard, I feel this is the only way to get that feeling back. I will confront the God of Death again on equal footing once more.

Dear 80% of online players. Sometimes, the Gunner will have special ammo to cast Attack and Defense up, or the Horn will have some buffs for you. These people are cool. Tell them thanks. If you don't have Mind's Eye, just use the ballista while it's enraged. You will get deflected at melee range, and then die to lightning or a tail swipe. All 4 of us can get our own set of ballistic binders and dozens of extra shots each from the gathering points in the Southwest, so there is no way we run out. You are doing us a lot more good by flinching, staggering, or binding it every so often. CAREFUL with the cannons. I honestly don't know how to use them, but I've seen people who can. I've seen a lot more people who can't, though, and get killed trying to carry the ammo. If you aren't confident you can handle it, don't bother. Bring 10 Mega Potions and 3 Lifepowder AT LEAST. You can easily save somebody's life just by using Lifepowder, which in turn saves you a cart. It's not going to survive more than 20 minutes when we all whale on it. FOCUS ON SURVIVING BEFORE DOINIG DAMAGE. Even if you play as conservatively as possible, the chip from the artillery, Dragonator, and Gunners will kill it. The damage you get from one extra hit is not worth the risk. Speaking of carting, don't sprint during the thunderstorm. Just walk until a bolt is above you, THEN sprint. If you STILL refuse to learn this move as so many people do, please bring more Farcasters and materials to build Farcasters. Still speaking of carting, only one Felyne Insurance counts. Press Y in the lobby to check everyone else's meal buffs. If somebody already got Insurance, go with something else. I prefer Moxie + Bombardier for extra artillery damage and a free hit in case I get greedy. There is no reason not to use the Dragonator every 10 minutes. It is a TON of free damage, something like 1,000. Fatalis has about 25,000 or 30,000 depending on the quest. It WILL NOT come towards the Dragonator unless you lure it in, so if you're the one guy fighting it head on while the other 3 are waiting at the Dragonator, you are slowing everything down. Just take 20 seconds to get 1,000 free damage and a high chance of stagger. Check the mission timer to keep track of when that 10 minute interval ends, so you're ready to bring everyone back to center stage to lure it in again. And when you inevitably win, CARVE IMMEDIATELY. There are three carves each on the head, chest, and torso. You can easily run out of time trying to get all 9 of them, especially with Carver skills giving you more than 9.

I know having Fatalis is cool and all, but I would have loved that his white brother would have showed up because all the lore power he has. Still looking forward for Fatalis comeback in october though
I remember hearing about this guy during my time in 3U and 4U. I never fought him in 4U because I was lazy, but vowed to fight him once he returned. He did, and just yesterday I fought him with 3 other people. Best, fight, ever. Except for armor mode. I'm still upgrading my GS to high rank, my LBG set has 500 defense and I'm not too confident at avoiding attacks, and my weaboo DB's can't aim up high enough to hit his head or chest. So I used cannons. And binders. Lots. I kept him on the ground for about 30 or so seconds by knocking him down twice and binding him once. Did the same with regular fatty, but that wasn't too impressive. Also, the lightning storm. Amazing.
Finished 2 fights victoriously, but didnt know what weapon to make. The ace said GS. His reasoning was "You cant go wrong with it." And hes 100% correct.
I'm one of the very few mh4u hunters that almost exclusively use W.fatalis set for almost any hunt...I did all the quests beside his and as a testament and a trophy for the triumph over this beast and also to show my respect I wear his full set of armor and also have every W.fatalis weapon in my armoury

Considering the fact that the White Fatalis' theme's style is very similar to the Monster Hunter Rise's music style... i wish they put White Fatalis in the next updates of Monster Hunter Rise. ❤

Voted for best theme❤ contrary to the fatalis theme, the vocals are more divine, ethereal. It is as if the chant is telling a cautionary tale of what happens when a hunter tries to fly too close to the sun, only to be forever lost within its eclipse
I’ve only played monster hunter world, I beat iceborne but I never got to Fatalis. I’m a big fan of Capcom tho, adore dragon’s dogma, and I also love music, so I was led here lol, and this is one of the most chilling, ethereal, powerful themes I’ve ever heard!

It seems like White Fatalis lacks the outward rage and hatred for humanity of its black and red counterparts, having been tempered with age. It is cool and aloof most of the time, but its wrath is akin to the storm when sufficiently roused. Even so, it is likely still the same Fatalis that torched all of Schrade in a single night.
I thought so too! I could hear the kulintang (idiophones) and the kubing (jaw harp). I'm sure these instruments are also called in different names on other SEAsian countries which also produced the same sound.
@@paleoboi7199 Gamelan sounds kinda light without bass unlike the kulintang which sounds a lot closer to the music though it's probably thru the effects of mastering in post-production, let me know if there are other brass instruments that sounds similar to both and on the song however.

Sometimes, the Gunner will have special ammo to cast Attack and Defense up, or the Horn will have some buffs for you. These people are cool. Tell them thanks.
If you don't have Mind's Eye, just use the ballista while it's enraged. You will get deflected at melee range, and then die to lightning or a tail swipe. All 4 of us can get our own set of ballistic binders and dozens of extra shots each from the gathering points in the Southwest, so there is no way we run out. You are doing us a lot more good by flinching, staggering, or binding it every so often.
CAREFUL with the cannons. I honestly don't know how to use them, but I've seen people who can. I've seen a lot more people who can't, though, and get killed trying to carry the ammo. If you aren't confident you can handle it, don't bother.
Bring 10 Mega Potions and 3 Lifepowder AT LEAST. You can easily save somebody's life just by using Lifepowder, which in turn saves you a cart.
It's not going to survive more than 20 minutes when we all whale on it. FOCUS ON SURVIVING BEFORE DOINIG DAMAGE. Even if you play as conservatively as possible, the chip from the artillery, Dragonator, and Gunners will kill it. The damage you get from one extra hit is not worth the risk.
Speaking of carting, don't sprint during the thunderstorm. Just walk until a bolt is above you, THEN sprint. If you STILL refuse to learn this move as so many people do, please bring more Farcasters and materials to build Farcasters.
Still speaking of carting, only one Felyne Insurance counts. Press Y in the lobby to check everyone else's meal buffs. If somebody already got Insurance, go with something else. I prefer Moxie + Bombardier for extra artillery damage and a free hit in case I get greedy.
There is no reason not to use the Dragonator every 10 minutes. It is a TON of free damage, something like 1,000. Fatalis has about 25,000 or 30,000 depending on the quest. It WILL NOT come towards the Dragonator unless you lure it in, so if you're the one guy fighting it head on while the other 3 are waiting at the Dragonator, you are slowing everything down. Just take 20 seconds to get 1,000 free damage and a high chance of stagger. Check the mission timer to keep track of when that 10 minute interval ends, so you're ready to bring everyone back to center stage to lure it in again.
And when you inevitably win, CARVE IMMEDIATELY. There are three carves each on the head, chest, and torso. You can easily run out of time trying to get all 9 of them, especially with Carver skills giving you more than 9.

I remember hearing about this guy during my time in 3U and 4U. I never fought him in 4U because I was lazy, but vowed to fight him once he returned. He did, and just yesterday I fought him with 3 other people.
Best, fight, ever. Except for armor mode. I'm still upgrading my GS to high rank, my LBG set has 500 defense and I'm not too confident at avoiding attacks, and my weaboo DB's can't aim up high enough to hit his head or chest.
So I used cannons. And binders. Lots. I kept him on the ground for about 30 or so seconds by knocking him down twice and binding him once. Did the same with regular fatty, but that wasn't too impressive.
Also, the lightning storm. Amazing.
Finished 2 fights victoriously, but didnt know what weapon to make. The ace said GS. His reasoning was "You cant go wrong with it."
And hes 100% correct.

I'm one of the very few mh4u hunters that almost exclusively use W.fatalis set for almost any hunt...I did all the quests beside his and as a testament and a trophy for the triumph over this beast and also to show my respect I wear his full set of armor and also have every W.fatalis weapon in my armoury

I’ve only played monster hunter world, I beat iceborne but I never got to Fatalis. I’m a big fan of Capcom tho, adore dragon’s dogma, and I also love music, so I was led here lol, and this is one of the most chilling, ethereal, powerful themes I’ve ever heard!

@@paleoboi7199 Gamelan sounds kinda light without bass unlike the kulintang which sounds a lot closer to the music though it's probably thru the effects of mastering in post-production, let me know if there are other brass instruments that sounds similar to both and on the song however.
