"A pickle for Nickle" is a phrase that I know will be bouncing around in my head for the rest of the day
I can’t believe they blatantly stole the name of my vapourwave label, “Bring Up the Pixel Factor”
The Schanke monolog killed me
Wait, an agent with a star client? That reminds me of a certain Bobby Duke, I miss him.
Ah, but who is the agent and who is the client?
I love the idea of a vampire society with esoteric laws enforced by violence. Why yes I am a fan of World of Darkness, how did you guess?
FK was one of the inspirations for VtM so ;)
Being a vamp has nothing to do with it.
That other vampire was intimidated based on relative strength of hairdo
Just a heads-up, yesterday and today's videos are appearing properly in the playlist, but are still Unlisted, so they're not showing on the main feed.
I was wondering why Mildred didn't post yeaterday
Wait, is that why I can't find these videos except by going to Scaredy Cats video page?
@@jimballard1186 The issue was corrected about an hour ago, you should see the videos on your subscription page like normal now. Getting served to the home page is always at the whims of The Algorithm though.
Ah, yes, "bring up that pixel factor", that makes sense, I've definitely heard of that before, it's definitely not just random technobabble.
Well, video back in the 90's was also known for its near infinite clarity and resolution. I also remember how fast computers were able to render images and process them. Just super lightning fast. It is kind of amusing how funny and insane TV shows and movies are about this kind of stuff even today. I just roll my eyes when they zoom in on the tiniest detail in a frame, and enhance it into a perfect image. The only thing funnier is the stuff they do on medical shows. Every time someone does CPR on a show or in a movie I die a little inside.
🎼"Aaand bounce the graviton particle beam
Off the main deflector dish
That's the way we do things lad
....."
@@dkecskes2199 My favourite is the neutrino bomb. Like, that thing is about to release trillions of essentially harmless particles? cool, I'll wait...
@@dkecskes2199 hey, c'mon, Star Trek technobabble is infinitely more intelligible and makes way more sense than the crap police procedurals come up with haha.
Might not be the right thing to say, but Schanke is slowly low key becomming my fave :)
Vampo #2 is intimidated by Nick because he cuts his hair to look like teen George McFly and therefore is terrified of everyone.
Glad when I looked there were a couple more seasons
I've had friendships like that, got pissed off and didn't talk to a person for 5 years, equates to a few decades in vampire time
yeah this episode kicked ass, great work highlighting it Mildo!
How did I miss a day? Oh, well, that means I get to watch TWO today. Them's the rules. YAY!
What? A tv show from the 80s (and 90s) having consistency in their continuity? Why would they do that?
Wait, but… if knowing he’s a vampo is an ax over the heads of folks to a point Nick pressures people who find him out to take a mind-wipin… why the heck is he ok with Nat being so involved in his #VampLife? Like isn’t he just letting the bullseye on her get more and more highlighted each time he has a furtive one-on-one with her about current vamp events?
Sidekick clause, you get a minion with your undeath
A Civil War sequence without wigs?!? I demand satisfaction, sir!
It's cute how much this show borrowed from VtM, which they borrowed a bunch of names and things from the Nick Knight movie.
I was surprised to see a reference to the term "reality tv" from 1992! I thought that the term was coined around 1999/2000. I know reality tv has been around for much longer than that, but I had never heard the term until, I think, Survivor came out.
Same!
Yeah, Schanke is like Lois Lane, being gaslighted and thrown off by a pair of glasses.
The vamp narc is intimidated by Nick cause Nick is much older has been a vampire longer
And enforcers are ancient and powerful which is why Lucien was cowering
I'm violently ill right now, but these videos help me feel better. It's like chicken soup for my eyes
I think my favorite COPS parody in a show comes from the anime Double Decker, where they have a character casually drop all the shows secrets while he's being booked. But then again, that show has major plot twists revealed offscreen between episodes! It's such a bonkers show, and filled with LGBT characters.
Oh I didn't pick up on the fact that he could actually read his mind. I thought it meant nick just couldn't hide his emotions from his daddy vampire.
Same.
Nick was probably older. Although, the other vampire learned to hide his thoughts, because he’s a spy.
Played accidentally, at work my bad hahaha but i knew when i heard the theme go i was like ok shuffle the foreverthon, but i miss bobby, every day
Nickle in a pickle. yes, just yes,,,
so I like the idea of "mysterious vamp rules" but they break some of their own rules ... which you'll talk about some of those at... some point lol. One other thing, I took the other vamps fear as he's an elder. He may not feed on the reg but he is old. So like fighting Lacroix he'd have to be strong, but some guy who's only been a vamp for a few years? Easy Peasy.
Winner winner. This series borrowed from Anne Rice a little, one of the rules in her novels and this series being that the closer "generationally" the vamp was to the very small set of original ancient vamps one is, the more powerful one is. Nick is only three generations away from that "zero point", making him almost assuredly way more powerful than most of the vamps on the continent he lives in now.
Great video but missed Mildred’s glasses.
what a pickle for nickle
I ❤❤❤ Lacroix.
So are the Vamp-clamp crew in the same group chat as the Hunter from Wishmaster 4?
pixel factor!!
Also I'm a detective lmao
That whole bit hahaha why do you ask? Flawless
Finally listed yaaasss
