Hi support, i want a pop up graphic screen when a maxsys zone is in alarm. so that i can see where the point is located. i have already setup graphic and integration i just need to configure the pop up. but i dont know if it is possible
Hi Kantech Support, I am using KT-100 on my emergency exit door. And i have Fire alarm control panel.The panel will send a signal NO or NC when the fire occured through dry contact signal.My question is how the door will force open when fire occured. what is the right connection and right configuration on entrapass special editionThanks,Jesser
Greetings Jesser. You would not want to tie a fire panel to a Kantech controller. The reason is our products are not fire rated. For a fire panel, you would want to bypass the Kantech system altogether.
+Kantech Support Ok. My client have existing Emergency door using KT100. And they want to force open when the fire alarm triggered. It doesnt matter to them if fire rated or not. So do i do the connection and programming? Hope you can help me to solve this. Thanks again
Greetings. Yes, the system can send out an e-mail on certain events. You have to be using Entrapass Corporate or Entrapass Global to have access to that feature.
unfortunately the version i am working on does not have the Event parameters in the system tab. so where else is it hiding . I was on hold with tech support for an 1hr 10 min and they disconnected. SO now i search youtube. I should not have to wait being a certifed tech. absolute crap. anyone else know ?
Thanks for letting us know that this video is out of date. We'll work on getting a new one made. In newer versions, Go to Definition/trigger and alarm. You can set the popup alarm there. Go to Options/Event color and priority to get the priority to assign the sound. Next time there is a long wait on the tech support line, go to our support portal support.kantech.com and you can use the live chat. There is always someone available to answer..
