This helps explain why a large percentage of the teachers in Waukesha just gave up and resigned their positions over the last 12 months. Can you imagine having to deal with this ignorance/ insanity/ paranoia at parent teacher conferences, in school board meetings, etc.?

I know this is meant to be funny but we should be all scared knowing that there's a section of our population that seriously believe all of this nonsense. This is a serious national threat and we should really pay attention. Update: I see that a lot of people are liking this comment and I am somewhat hopeful for our future because of this. The sheer level of destruction this yields has been staggering to observe as it unfolds, and it makes me hyper aware of the impermanence of governments and nations. They fail all the time throughout history, and we may just be alive to live through a huge historical failing. @stopthecrazyguy unfortunately wisconsin is a mainly republican state due to the insane amount of small counties that are overwhelmingly republican, the county I live in is 85% republican and I don't think theirs ever gonna be any change here . In the local elections democrats don't even run in most places here because theirs no point.

As a Wisconsinite I can confirm this is the caliber of thought in most of rural Wisconsin. Pretty much any small town will have some people like this. It’s infuriating as I have family in those towns and visiting them is just stressful at this point.
