I'm an American and I find it disgusting that the Scottish government would allow Trump a foreigner to come to their country and treat their own citizens in this manner.
It's all about the money they get in revenue paid to pass the building permits they need and the tourist revenue they care about, not the locals.

Way back in 1986 Trump tried to get a licence to operate a casino in Sydney, Australia. NSW police opposed his application citing Trump's links to the mafia. His application was unsuccessful.
