As a fellow German I’m just so sad and angry over the constant Holocaust comparisons anti-vaxxers make...it’s cruel and insulting for survivors and victims. I’m even more disgusted by the German lady, since she should definitely know better...the sheer arrogance and ignorance of her were hard to watch.
there's probably a reason she's in america and not germany.

Oh, we have those people here in Germany, too. And then they complain that society looks down on them.
Germany surely must be relieved that they got rid of that crazy woman. She"s the US's problem now.
I thought the same thing. I was like "Why is this German lady who should know much better talking like this?"
Perhaps the German lady is a closet Holocaust denier?
One striking difference between Klepper's interviews of these people vs Trump rallies... these people seemed to understand when they were being made fun of.

As a youngster in the 50s, before we had vaccines for these, here is what I had to suffer through: measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox. My mother had polio. After the vaccines, no one had to go through those awful illnesses. Am I vaccinated today? You bet I am. I am so grateful . I have had the vaccines for polio, diphtheria, pertussis, pneumonia, hepatitis, Tetanus, shingles, COVID, HPV, and every year the flu vaccine.
I was born in the 70s but I try to tell people about this. I grew up not having to fear so many diseases because the people before me got vaccinated and made me do the same. They should look at photos of rows of kids in iron lungs, or kids who survived polio but were never the same... read old stories from before vaccines and learn how devastating diphtheria was. How can anyone forget that?
My dad also had polio. Now he’s in a wheel chair. Viruses never leave your body. They can come back. It’s why I’ll be getting a shingles vaccine soon. I had chicken pox in the 80s before the vaccine. The virus doesn’t leave your body. It mutates. What will happen to covid in 30 years to a persons body?
@@BeeWhistler they don t know . and they think that they are blessed by the blood of jebus.. and by the mony of the orange creepus.
Wow, thank you Merry for sharing your experience and what you've witnessed. I wish more people could hear your perspective.
I also had chickenpox and Rubella, I remember being so sick with that. I got my polio vaccine in first or second grade. We all lined up in the cafeteria and they put a drop of vaccine on a sugar cube. I'll never forget that, it was history in the making! Back then, we understood that vaccines would save a lot of lives, and we were so grateful.
Our yoga instructor died from Covid before vaccines were available. Breathwork is a major part of our practice and is considered to have all sorts of health benefits. He'd held a small gathering at his home, and I'd opted out, as it didn't seem wise. Nearly everyone came down with the virus, a couple had to be hospitalized. He meant well--RIP. While I subscribe to natural health practices, I strike a balance when it comes to pandemics. Got vaxxed as soon as I was eligible.
He meant well?! He almost got people killed!
Bn commuting 2-3 a day every dsy in a 5 mln city since the beginning of the pandemic. Regularly come in contact with more than 20 ppl of all ages a week. Guess how many of them got hurt by the virus?
He couldn’t have got it anywhere, like the politicians that seem to get it every month and as they mandated they went out and partied. I’m sure you will wear a mask forever and get at least 1 shot a year and also get you yearly monkeypox shot, and flu shot and.....
WRONG! Pharmaceutical companies manufacture vaccines.
You are wise, I agree with you 💯 I would have done the same thing.
I really wish people would stop comparing this to the Holocaust. It’s so disrespectful…
^^^^
TRUTH!
No kidding.
Perhaps if the anti-vaxxers were treated like the victims of the Holocaust, they would change their minds. They could then be rounded up, quarantined in "ghettos" and forced to wear a badge with a red circle with a line drawn across it over a picture of a syringe. Eventually, they would be euthanized if they refused to be vaccinated after spending years in an anti-vaxxer camp being beaten, starved and tortured with unethical medical experiments. Almost forgot. When you enter the camp, everyone's head will be shaved and they will wear prison uniforms. Those who die from illness, torture, starvation will be dumped into a large hole in the ground and buried in mass graves. Those who are euthanized will have all their gold teeth removed as well. Lamp shades would be made of the tattooed skin of dead people. It is an insult to everyone who was murdered during the Holocaust to equate it with a vaccine mandate during a pandemic. People who make this comparison should have their tongues cut off.
As a history major it genuinely hurts my brain when these people compare it to 1930s Germany, cause it's clear they know nothing about it and just want to make up a fantasy world, with fantasy lore, where they are the protagonist.
As someone who had family attempt to flee from Poland and then die at the hands of the Nazi's, thank you for asking that follow up question. She can say it's not funny all she wants but her comparison is embarrassing from a historical perspective and quite frightening from a social perspective.
The unvaccinated certainly consists of an awful lot of 'victims'
Its worse than embarrassing its disgusting
Same. My whole life I have been hearing about the Holocaust and how my relatives fled and died. This is such privilege to compare first world problems to horrendous tragedies.
He was trying to spin the German laidys comments into comparing the holocaust. She was comparing the police state. If you trust an agency that wants 50+ years to release covid 19 vaccine data, then you should trust a man that speaks out of his nose. Its easy using editing to make fun of people. Its hard to have an unedited dialog and "win."
It's flat dangerous.
The German woman comparing it to the Holocaust and ironically getting upset when he describes what went on during the Holocaust is the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. He's repeating your point back to you, if she thinks he "doesn't get it" she's just proving her point is invalid
The people behind this have committed crimes against humanity before but are too rich to be charged I guess. Laws are for the poor.
Read the Gulag Archipelago.
She compared the US to the authoritarian fear mongering propaganda of that time. He referred to the Jews, she said "that's not funny"... Did you miss that part? She walked away because he has his predetermined point of view to make and pushes only that instead of participating in a conversation with a reasonable person. We just had the first US President ever to hold constant political rallies while in office. She has a point, she had more than just COVID on her mind.
I couldn't agree more. As a person of German heritage myself she disgusts me.

What I have realised growing up is that kids are smarter. As we grow up, we tend to learn less and forget a lot of basics that were taught in school.
Love that dude! Totally chill (and vaccinated among other things)
and how about the biological concept of immunity acquired through having one through the infection?
the concept that has served mankind for millions of years before the first vaccine was developed?

This death of community responsibility. It's appalling. Everyone uses the word "freedom" as a substitute for selfishness and a reason to avoid collective responsibility, to avoid the idea that we are responsible for and to each other. It's a shame. The guy at @5:58 hit the nail right on the head.
That's true.
We don't have collective responsibility in america. This country was founded on PERSONAL freedom. You need to be responsible only for yourself. If you want community responsibility then you should open your home to all the homeless in your community. When someone in your community gets sick you and your neighbors should pay for medical bills.
@@ken-nf2eg What are you talking about? We do have collective responsibility in America. We've had it for a long time. What do you think Social Security is? Everyone's contributing so that when people get old they don't have to eat cat food. What do you think Medicare/Medicaid is? It's a pool of money that the government manages so old people don't just die in the street. What do you think insurance regulations are about? So that when you get sick, Blue Cross can't just be like 'Thanks for the dough man!'. What do you think a government is? It's an organization founded to set up rules so that everyone lives by an agreed set of rules. Our greatest triumphs in this country are when the people demonstrated collective responsibility: World War 2 was when all Americans pulled together to defeat an existential evil. Even in our day-to-day lives, in our neighborhoods, we rely on each neighbor to cut their grass and take care of their homes, not just because it looks nice, but because it affects everyone else. Nobody can say "Forget the grass man. I wanna live free!" The neighbors would be like "It's called being neighborly as your house effects our houses and their value." We all have collective responsibility all the time. It's not just PERSONAL responsibility. This country was founded on Life, Liberty, and the Right to Own Property IN THAT ORDER. Life supersedes your right to PERSONAL liberty. That's the collective responsibility. It's in the Constitution if you actually read it and pay attention to what it says.

I still think getting vaccinated for COVID-19, Measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, small pox, pertussis, and hepatitis B are the right thing to do for yourself and your community. As a kid, you had to be vaccinated before be allowed into school. I recall vaccination days at school where we lined up and the nurse gave us our vaccines. Oh, by the way, heart attacks are the same thing as myocardial infarction. The first being a layman’s term and the second the medical term.
@@msemmahale4608 you have the correct way of thinking there.
@@rloomis3 no, I don't really think that's what's driving this lunacy. It reminds me of what happened in the 14th century AD when Europeans killed 95% of the European Jews blaming them for the bubonic plague. It's just stupidity coupled with ignorance.
Lost my dad at 52 1/2 to COVID so I can relate.
As a German I’d like to apologize for this confused lady. It’s just sad…
Yes eat healthy, meditate, exercise, and get both vaccines and don’t forget the booster. 🥗🧘♂️ 🏃♂️💉😷
That German woman who said “You didn’t get the point” and walked away knew that she’d been had and left to avoid making an even bigger fool of herself.
she stuck around to sign the release form otherwise they would have blurred her face out
"People were _docile_ back in the industrious age."
🤔 "...the _industrious_ age?" Dafuq?
They were very industrious back then. But also docile.
Docile--what history books they reading?
None?
The “industrious” people managed to eradicate polio in the US by taking vaccines…oh such a bunch of ….
Yeah, those people who started strikes and fought police and military with guns to get worker rights to exist sure were docile.
@@CweenOfTheMark they were literally going toe to toe against the police. When the authorities showed up they didn't say "my body my choice". They picked up their own weapons and charged. For him to think they were docile just shows that he seems himself as some revolutionary.
These people’s faces after he hits them with solid points and arguments : 👁👄👁
“And fear is lowering your frequency”
Jordan’s face was priceless

Super Pro Science here. What!? How is this NUT giving dietary advice all of the sudden?????! She thinks life saving vaccines aren’t safe, but fish from who knows where is cool. I believe you can eat meat, poultry, and fish to your fill! But, sweet f@#k, get your vaccination.
He thrives off fear, its how he makes his money. Its certainly not comedy, or did we really gather around to laugh at these poor yet kind simpletons?
@@ktownstyle Yeah, the second part... obviously. It's comedy central. I can go on...
@@valtonpichette562 lol ur form of comedy is not only low brow but toxic to humanity.
I dnt get why this legend doesn't have his own show by now. If he was in Netflix we will be in season 3 of "what's happening in America with Jordan Klepper"
If I were into cults, I'd call him the messiah. The Messiah of Reason.
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
He did, and he does.
"You didn't get the point". Oh, he totally got the point, dear, which is why you ultimately bailed from the conversation. Jordan saw right through her flimsy WWII false equivalency.
Look how persecuted she is though. That scarf is preventing blood from getting to her already underutilized brain.
Flimsy or accurate??
@@TwinGoats Not at all accurate...
Somehow this group infuriates me even more than the MAGA crowd.
They are part of the Maga
These anti-vaccine people are actually improving the housing crisis.
lol! 😅
Honestly.... True.
One death at the time.
Almost, only 1 or 2 of them die from a 4-5 person household so then the house is still lived in. Every now and then people die that live alone and tbat does help the housing crisis!
@@michellezevenaar from the GoFundMe pages a lot of their families put up, it seems like poor financial planning went along with poor health choices. Some of those families will lose their home because of medical bills, funeral costs, etc.
