I have been studying Brazilian Portuguese for 4 years and still haven't dreamt in portuguese yet.......

Knk çok tatlılar ama öyle deme kibar değil bence

Well I’m a native English speaker but at least this helped me with chinese
Oh that's funny, Jack. But also I can also see how that could work. A strategy for learning a language should work for whatever language you're learning. Well done you for tackling Chinese and good luck with your studies!
Me, too! I'm using this lesson to push myself towards thinking in German.
(Yoda) may the English be with you. Great lesson Vicki.
Ha! And may the English be with you too Super Agent Awesome. Big hugs.
Hello
You both are great teachers you're answering our all questions. Thank you very much.
But I don't understand( May the English be with you )what is it's mean?
Imran Kalandar it's a Reference to the movie series "star wars" (comes from: may the force be with you)
I can't wait to dream in English, it would be very cool! hahaha
Hoping it happens soon and that they are sweet dreams. :-)
Thank you, angel!
It seems you need someone who speaks English to sleep together. )
I did twice. It was good 😂
It’s incredible, I found this channel when I got to an advanced level in english, it would have helped me so much 2 years ago
Well, we're very glad you've found us now. Thanks Ashley G.
Step 5: Dream in English... The first time I knew I was dreaming in French (I'm English) I was studying for B1 level in Paris and, in the middle of the dream I arrived at a word I didn't know in French. In my dream, I just stopped! The gap in the dream made me wake up and I realized what had happened: I had stopped 'thinking' asleep (i.e. dreaming) because I couldn't think the word in French and I wasn't dreaming in English so, I couldn't think the word in English either... so I stopped dreaming and woke up. I was so surprised - and pleased! I watched this video to apply the same lesson to German. I can't wait to start thinking in German!
Sehr gut, Alison :-) Great story and thanks for sharing.

Thank you Nana! Greetings to you in Vietnam!
So many people have asked me if i dream in English or in French, but for a long time I didn't know until one morning I remembered saying in my dream "who's ringing" 😄
Well done, Fanny, You're on your way.
I have been doing this for a year now, it helps a lot, and yes I've dreamed in English but I don't remember what was it about.
You both are so kind! I really enjoy the way you put the words and encourage your students to go ahead. Thanks for sharing these tips with us! :-)
I find these tips help as I try to improve my fluency in Japanese. I also stage or rehearse some sentences. As I furnish my マンション /mansyon/ = apartment, I have to translate certain words in advance. When I bought a desk, I memorized the word 机 /tukue/.
But I have learned that native speakers are quite helpful. Some know the word and suggest it for me, and nearly everyone is patient with me. They want you to succeed so that you’ll be better able to do these sorts of transactions in the future.
The irony, of course, is that I often enough remember the word right after the exchange. Then I kick myself for forgetting it.
So that raises my last point: if you aren’t a native speaker, give yourself slack. I have found that all but a few native speakers give you slack and help you. The anxiety is what stifles my memory.
In my purchasing the desk, the sales clerk said “desuku” and that jogged my memory. So I got my desk.
Oh wow, these are such useful tips Mnogojazyk. Thanks so much for generously sharing them. I particularly liked this one: "give yourself slack".

I'm a native English speaker, but these are great pieces of advice for learners of any language! I'm going to apply these steps to my study of Mandarin Chinese! 谢谢你们给我非常好的劝告!
Thanks Kasey. That's going to be a good place to apply it I think. There's some interesting data on Chinese compliments in the research on linguistic politeness. The modesty requirement bar looks even higher than in the UK sometimes.
thanks for the help !!!, see ya
