- Learn how to drive the Global Mazda MX-5 on Oulton Park International in iRacing!
In the guide we will take a look at every turn, I will showcase important details, and in the end you will be ready to join the next session and attack your best times!
You can also practice with and race against my ghost, or compare your telemetry with mine. You can find all those additional files over in the database on the community discord!
SETUP: The setup I'm using is the standard baseline setup from iRacing - the setup which is on the car when you boot the sim for the first time. It's also the setup you have to use in the Rookie series, which means you already got it and there's no need to download anything.

I'm driving with the default iRacing settings, which lead to track temperatures between 24-26°C

I love your editing method of talking thru the turn, putting text on the screen, and then showing the turn. Really efficient video.
This video was a huge help! WIthin 3 laps after watching I took almost 5 seconds off my time and became a lot more consistent.

@@thibautsuner1328 I’m on a Fanatec CSL elite v1.1. As for settings I’d have to check tomorrow but I think I only turned down the strength a tiny bit
@@thibautsuner1328 to be fair I have been drifting on assetto corsa for about 7 years now so I’m not jumping into this with zero experience in the sim world

Drop down to 1st on that last turn on the hill.. hvnt seen that way yet. Im always looking for guys doing things just a little bit different. Looks quick, but it looks dangerous, on that hill acceleration is particularly dangerous cause were coming up over a crest pulling just a touch of negative Gforce takes some of our grip away, and the back end can get away from you. In first gear this is clearly faster, but that danger is compounded. I'm gonna give it a try though see if I can get good at it. Thanks for this upload. I appreciate the little extra time it took to edit out the straights and just giving us the meat. Good Upload. New Sub here ill be by in the weeks to come as our tracks change. I have to learn them all for the first time this Season.

actually at the first chicane I prefer the marshall post what do you think about that?
With my FoV it looks identical in terms of distance 👍🏼 It's just a bit deep in a dead angle. People with single/small screens might have issues to spot it
