Sounds so true, god bless robert johnson...truth and love hard times with good times thrown in... Keeping it even.. taj mahal always does it right.. ..he's stayed true to the origins of the blues... I love the blues,,,
In the late 60's I would go to The Fillmore in S.F and see Van Morrison once a week when he was living in San Raphael. Seems like Taj was there half the time. I watched while two giants learned their craft, each week a little better than the week before. Two of the immortals. Thanks
A happy seventy-first BD, Henry -- that is, Taj. I wish it was fixin' to rain outside, I'd have every excuse to camp up in this kitchen and groove on these blues.
Been listening to Taj for a long time. First time I ever heard this one...Bold rendition. Pure talent

Two versions of this song make my day....Robert Johnsons and Taj's....great song by true men that have those blues you cannot explain with words.
I liked Steve Millers version as well - unique
