- Or is it?
This is the view out the back of a northeast regional train...reversed! Enjoy the scenery as the engineer would on the wrong main track flying past red signals!!!
The video starts just south of Mystic, CT prior to School Street Crossing and ends as we pass over high street interlocking.
Enjoy!!!
One helluva truck driver if he can back a semi at approx. 50 mph straight as an arrow.
Great vid. Gives a good sense of what it would be like being on board.
A great videl. What a neat idea to reverse it! Almost the same, the only big difference is the truck going over the overpass in reverse!
Love the video... Great quality. . Would like to know what editor was used? I figure it out right away once it passed the crossing and no horn was used. . but you did a great job. .
That sky look beautiful at that time of day
Clever and impressive. Thanks for sharing this!
Awesome Video And Idea!
Very cool. Don't think I've seen a cabride vid from the Acela. Did not seem to go the usual 150mph I know Acelas to go...
I'm watching this cab ride with Gortoz A Ran by Denis Pregent Classic Masterpiece. It's beautiful and sad at the same time. It pays homage to the steam trains of the NYNH&H that plied this line from it's construction through beautiful landscapes very similar to Brittany and sad that the NYNH and H never found the money to electrify the whole New York Boston rail line (though the railroad had plans) only to be done by Amtrak in the late 1990's and homage to the construction of the electrification.
Great video!
Great Work nice video big like
Don't be so serious everyone, he was just playing around. It still is a good video.
Most Awesome Vid!!!!!!!!
That's when I noticed it was in reverse! The truck alerted me something was weird here. The signals also tipped me off. Then I read the description.
very creative!
Looks cool!!!
was that a cabcar or inside AEM-7
But great video im favoriting it definetly
@AmtrakFanNEC927 Which explains why the train is running on the left hand track.
@ Charonview I notice the same thing I was like did the truck just go over in reverse, but in the end its a great video
Which video editor did you use to do this? I am going to take an MBTA peak hour train sometime this week hopefully, and its easy to film out the back window on those trains. I was hoping to do something like this but wasn't sure what software was capable of doing the switch
If you notice the bridge at 9:50 there is a truck that proves this was done in reverse!!!
great sound :D
What's with the truck going backwards at the end?
At the bridge at 6:05 I filmed a few Amtrak trains there Monday.
haha. I thought you got a really nice crew or something and got a cab ride. But this is pretty cool anyway.
Cool!
Red Single, Truck going backward nothing wrong with this video at all! :D
@AmtrakFanNEC927 it is soooooooooo simple to reverse the direction. Nice vid
Hey, its fine to just show the reverse shot, there's no need to flip it.
nice video
awesome
@AmtrakFanNEC927 Sorry Bout that Why did the enigineer do this
yes
magnifique !
9:48 awesome
You should have flipped the video in addition to reversing it.
at :54...Didn't they BLOW a red-over-red? YIKES!
how do you not notice it was taken in reverse? hahaha
If it was that simple, it would be titled "northeast regional" cab ride.
What a slow ass train
They don't call it "New England" for nothing lol
Needs more black bars.
Из хвостового вагона задом наперед.
no shit rite?
Too many curves, too many crossings.
lolz
Look at all the idiots saying trucks and stuff goin in reverse. They would've known that Had they read the description says
