Jordan the feeder is nice but you should feed them everyday like the goats ,they will get to know you are the man,and when flying them they should come back knowing your the one feeding them. If you let them out on a full stomach there gone for good. so you want them to relay on you like the goats plus mice will get in the feed too. FEEDER MAY BE NICE IN A LARGE BREEDER PEN MAYBE .Thanks for taking my comment
You ready need to stop catching the birds with the net because all your doing is making the pigeons associate you with the net and the net to them is frightening so you to them are as good as a predator . You want the birds so they come to you without any fear that way you'll have more chance settling the birds as they won't be scared of you. Best way to fo this is make them hungry . If you feed 1 clenched fistful of corn per 2 birds is roughly an oz each bird this will keep them hungry . They will fly to you when you go in the loft for food . When you get to this point start hand feeding the birds and every now and then pick one up without frightening it hold it gently for a minute or so then let it go carry on feeding by hand then pick another one up and do the same again. The birds will soon become accustom to you feeding and handling them without being frightened. If your birds are scared of something where they live , they don't stay there for long 💯 Good Luck Best regards Aaron England 🇬🇧
Hey Jordan you might want to add a little cover to the back and sides of your flyers loft to protect them from cool wind especially at night..But not totally covered so they still have a 360 degree view outside the loft.. I love pigeons.. watching from the Philippines
try build one of those trap its called sputnik trap 1 month in the cage should do the work but before you let them out breed them first have them babies surely they will comeback they will not abandoned the baby im justine monte from the philippines thats the technique we do here in the philippines if you want me to advice you just pm me
Don`t know anything about Pigeons but that`s a lot of birds . You have quite a farm going on . When are you and Bobby going to do another hunt together .
Boss man clip them and let them out for few days and make sure u give them time and let them get their feathers back them self after molting beling me they wont leave your coupe
When you do build your trap and start letting them out dont do what bobby guy did an throw them out let them come an go on there own.. if you scar them out they will just take off an not come back
Good evening Jordan, a good tour around the farm, everything looks well. Yes, the pigeons in your new loft - you must put a flight in be it open or have bob wires on ( if you know what bob wires are??) Best thing you said - move it out into the pasture, open ground! We hope you get out duck shooting soon. Can you tell us about the zones - does the duck hunting start at different times in the zones through the season? We would have loved to see you frolicking with the troublesome goat. I'm sure we would have laughed - cruel but true! Thousands of pink foot geese on those stubbles today, that we told you about. Not able to go tomorrow fingers crossed they will still be there on Monday morning. You can't shoot them on an evening flight as they don't flight onto the fields at night. They come at first light in a morning and stay on the field all day until they go back to roost, if they are not disturbed - they are bloody hard work and very unpredictable and frustrating! Take care all of you and we look forward to meeting Mr and Mrs Duck. Malc and Ann (England) UK xxx❤️🥀
Or....they can just give u the money to buy everything that they think u should have used to construct this. I think u did an awesome DIY job using materials u had. Smart and resourceful. 👍🏼🏆
Just found your channel, it’s great. Best advice I can give you for that new loft is to take the food and the Homers out and replace them with the rollers. Only feed them once a day. . And make a small door next to the large door. To let the birds in and out. You don’t want them to get in the habit of going out of the big door . As every time you open it some may fly over your head and be gone. Good work
U said it . Work in progress. Just needs closing in and it's fine. It's way to open . No protection . Not a fan of the feeder . If ya gonna fly em should be no food lying around and ya should be feeding them in a clean trough . But I think u know that. Good luck though . Interested to see how it goes 4 ya 👍
Good start, but make some more purchase to sit on and close with plywood few sides. Put the rest of the homers in do not keep them with fancy birds. Specily, the older ones. Keep it up!
You can run that feeder out of the wire and actually fill it from outside and put a cap on it to keep the rain out. That’s what I always done anyways. You can twist the pipes to be level with whatever angle you decide on but it works so you don’t have to go in the loft to feed em when you don’t have time
@@JordansHarvest sometime goat eats poly bag and after they dead for it goat think different taste different food but they can't digest or this poly bag are never come with poop after they died not only for goat your chicken goose can eats rubber tiny plastic also

Good start. Move to open area would be good. Maybe solar motion light if they dont have a dog around em's. You get a better shot off.
When you do build your trap and start letting them out dont do what bobby guy did an throw them out let them come an go on there own.. if you scar them out they will just take off an not come back
Hey Jordan I have some pigeons I’m getting rid of for free good bloodlines
you should consult a vet about that goats udder mastidus will really effect the quality of her life.
Only fly the homing pigeons you breed at your place .. others if they are any good will try to find there way back to the loft they were trained at
Cover it up on both side s, draft will kill, the pigeons
U should not leave a lot of feed for homing pigeons u should give them a cup in the morning and a cup at night
Hi mister jordan i want a racing pigeon can you give me us a gift. 🙏
Need to close that lock in board rains going to blow in it
