I’m calling it now, they all got so drunk off absinthe that they sailed to Elbaf on their own and can’t remember a thing. Oh, and my own head canon is that when drunk, Zoro is a better navigator than Nami and is the one who sailed them there XD
I think the "giants" at the beginning of the chapter were other humans that had been put there. The bees look like they are similarly scaled to them as to Nami. And it would make sense with them being surprised over someone hunting the rabbit.
I thought this was pretty obvious since they looked to be the same scale as the strawhats. And they referred to the animals as giant/gods when they were just as big for the strawhats. Plus they resided in the same lego town as the strawhats.
I think its the opposite. The StrawHats have somehow become giants. Why would some random humans be worried about the state of Ygrassil and Elbaf along with the gods?
Random Theory: We're not really in Elbaf yet. Or maybe just close. I still we think we are in a giant's playhouse, with the other people we being descendants of previously captured people, who just think this is normal. We never get a good look at the scale, but the animals seem huge to them too and the castle seems normal sized to the Strawhats, when if it's for giants it should be WAYYYY larger. So what the inhabitants think are animal gods are just normal Elbaf animals and what they think is Yggdrasil isn't the real Yggdrasil but just a the equivalent to a potted plant.
I agree, there ain't no giants in this chapter. And all the inconsistencies, down to the attack names, might be a clue that something is off. Pocket dimension made by a devil fruit seems likely.
They killed a giant rabbit “ear god”. So the cat that turned into a lion was probably the “sun god”, sometimes lions get confused for suns like the sunny. Franky wanted the figurehead to look like a lion but people said it looked like a sun.

isnt it too convenient that she imagined the 3 strongest members of her crew coming to save her and they did? i wont be surprised if this is still hallucination and not elbaf
I saw a theory on twitter the other day how this whole thing was an illusion sequence for Nami because if you read the panels at the end its possible the panel of luffy saying gear fourth is possibly not a mistake. They mentioned how zoro is the one mentioning they should find the ship first and then one of the biggest things was probably Sanji saying they should go find the bees and the hive which is interesting as he has shown he does not like insects. In Norse mythology, the sun is personified by Sól, a fair and beautiful goddess who drives the sun across the sky in a chariot pulled by two horses, Arvak and Alsvinn.
about the sun god: the giants refer to it as "taiyoushin" (太陽神) but when other characters, like Stella in Egghead, refer to Luffy specifically they use "taiyou no kami" (太陽の神). Both mean "sun god", but the latter looks more like a title or an epithet while the former might be an actual name/position held by someone (think Kaioshin from Dragon Ball)
If I had a nickel for every time Nami has used one of her best friends as a human shield I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s insane that it’s happened twice
i don't think anyone mentioned it this far but i think they might be on s part of Elbaf inhabited by humans because the bees were huge even for giants(a.i. if they are that big compared to giants. how big are they compared to the other animals or Nami) and similarly they refer to the castle as big stein castle (stein in this context can also refer to Lego bricks or a fancy beer mug(in german lego bricks are called Lego Steine)) and every thing in it seems to be closer to human sized and more comparable to human castles
The monster trio is so fxcking hypppppppppe 😭 im gonna explode This outfits are so goated too I never liked the samurai outfit for Zoro we got through most of the post timeskip This one is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Sanji and Luffy look awesome too, all of them with coats
I think people are overlooking the Usopp illusion moment. Could really sense some potential themes there about confronting his fears and becoming the brave warrior of the sea.
Watch everything be made out Legos because the giants are always destroying their homes (either by accident because of their strength or because there are a lot of fights) so they use Legos to make reconstruction way easier and faster
This town may be made out of giant legos, but the castle that the crew is in seems to scale with human proportions, and the animals we see are big to us, but are in scale with the giants so I wonder if this castle was made specifically for humans. This entire area may be made for humans and the people we see at the beginning are just human who live in Elbaf, and the giants had to make the human city out of legos as it would be easier than building them normally at a small scale.
nami was stressed on thia chapter 😭 in another circumstances she would be more calmy but since she didn't even know how she changed the outfits is more than understandable why she is freaking out
i think the thoery of the levels of Yggdrasil is real, because we saw the low level with Shanks that looked nothing like what we seeing now, and now we see the top level because it look like the top of the tree
Maybe they will see Chopper also as one of their gods. Because the rendeer is also a part of scandinavia. Particularly in his big rumble ball form. Maybe thats why we didnt see Chopper in this chapter. He gets worshipped by the giants at that time 😂 29:05
Also reindeer are commonly hearded in Sweden and the other Scandinavian countries. Someone might've found Chopper passed out in his reindeer form. I think he might've partied himself weak. He didn't drink absinthe but who knows exactly what happened here . . . Anyway, Chopper might've been in regular reindeer form when he got captured and brought to someone's reindeer ranch. He wouldn't be livestock because he's too small compared to the other likely massive reindeer here in Elbaf. Maybe since he has a blue nose and hes small, the Giant who kidnapped him thinks he's a rare specimen and probably kept as prized possession. However you are also correct about the Norse mythology behind reindeer as well. There's also the chance that it could be a mixture of both situations. All I know is, when we finally see him it's gonna be fucking hilarious!!😂😂
Seems Elbaf is not just full of references to Viking culture and Norse mythology, but it's also a melting pot of everything Nordic. The Straw Hats end up in Elbaf's version of Legoland, fight a cat with a crown that ate the Cat-Cat fruit- model: Lion (a reference to the coat of arms of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland), not to mention Dorry and Brogy's Hakarl provisions in the last arc. As a Finn, I'm already loving this arc.
Can we take a moment to talk about the new fits, because they are CLEAN. I expected nothing less, I would have been very disappointed if Usopp didn’t have a beard Also Sanji’s looks… very interesting. The cape and the gloves give me “Elbafian Germa” vibes, but I’m sure it’s just because he’s dressed as a knight with a sword… maybe
To me, this seemed more like somebody created an extensive lego village, but none of it is scaled to Giant sizes. The two people talking next to the Bees seem more like humans than Giants, since the bees were similar size next to Nami. Seems more like a giant lego village that someone filled with humans, with a fake Yggdrasil. This Yggdrasil seems large compared to the humans, rabbits, and cats, but I feel like its just a stand in for this lego nation. But the real Yggdrasil would be much large in the center of Elbaf. I think its possible that Loki or another giant is acting like the sun god to these humans he keeps in a giant Lego structure with a bunch of other regular animals.
Tekking there’s alot of “mistakes” in this chapter. From all of the strawhats weapons changing from guns to swords or them being there and then not in a next panel. Along with Luffys “G4” attack. People are saying Oda is on his rocker now or it could be some effects of the Absinthe. Also my theory on that cat is that its either Loki or one of his pets. That crown is oddly suspicious
The more I think about it it does seem like at least partly hallucinations on Nami‘s part. Maybe people are taking to her (like Usopp protesting he’s not dead) but the subtle inconsistencies seem a little too weird for my taste 🤔

This could be the first arc Chopper gets correctly identified as a reindeer, as reindeer are native to Norway.
If I had a nickel for every time Nami has used one of her best friends as a human shield I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s insane that it’s happened twice
Sanji calling Nami his beloved is so sweet♥️
Bro its sanji. He calls any women beloved. Hopefully you arent shipping. One piece isnt about that.
“You killed sir fluffles!!!!!!” 😂
i don't think anyone mentioned it this far but i think they might be on s part of Elbaf inhabited by humans because the bees were huge even for giants(a.i. if they are that big compared to giants. how big are they compared to the other animals or Nami) and similarly they refer to the castle as big stein castle (stein in this context can also refer to Lego bricks or a fancy beer mug(in german lego bricks are called Lego Steine)) and every thing in it seems to be closer to human sized and more comparable to human castles
11:28 buster call is sent to take down Luffy and the giants. The giants don’t want to work together, until Luffy unites them as the sun god
Y'all remember when Nami got a piece of a yonko soul as a servant?
The Yggdrasil in this chapter is properly not the giant tree-like shape we saw in Big Mom's flashback. It's not the same shape, and seems too small.
Giants: You eat our god?!
Luffy: I was hungry. 😂😂
The monster trio is so fxcking hypppppppppe 😭 im gonna explode
This outfits are so goated too
I never liked the samurai outfit for Zoro we got through most of the post timeskip
This one is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sanji and Luffy look awesome too, all of them with coats
Funny how this chapter was the OG East Blue 5 :)
WELCOME TO ELBAF where everyday is Leafericson dad! Higa ding dergon!!
I think Chopper is just chilling with some giant animals. He can communicate with them.
I think people are overlooking the Usopp illusion moment. Could really sense some potential themes there about confronting his fears and becoming the brave warrior of the sea.
It’s awesome we get the beginning of Elbaf today my 30th birthday. Feels like a gift from Oda.
Let’s get to it crew!
RIP Usopp
I've never needed a tekking video more in my life 😂 that chapter was crazy
The Elbaf outfits looking tight
I think the smell was Sanji cooking up the "Ear God" since they mentioned that they ate it.
I can never take this level of energy seriously
The D clan, truly the natural hunters of gods
25:17
Ussop fall from the tower of justice at ennis lobby and didn't get a bone broken that's normal for a god in the end
nami was stressed on thia chapter 😭 in another circumstances she would be more calmy but since she didn't even know how she changed the outfits is more than understandable why she is freaking out
I can't believe we're finally in Elbaf, this is historic.
i think the thoery of the levels of Yggdrasil is real, because we saw the low level with Shanks that looked nothing like what we seeing now, and now we see the top level because it look like the top of the tree
I like the fact that this has the original 5, that is a dynamic we've not had in a while.
Keep up the awesome work and videos tekking love the video
Maybe they will see Chopper also as one of their gods. Because the rendeer is also a part of scandinavia. Particularly in his big rumble ball form. Maybe thats why we didnt see Chopper in this chapter. He gets worshipped by the giants at that time 😂 29:05
Like C3PO with the Ewoks. 🤣
I expected nothing less, I would have been very disappointed if Usopp didn’t have a beard
Also Sanji’s looks… very interesting.
Bingo.
Lego castle makes it easier to renovate your house.
Ragnorock foreshadowed
