Currently trying to find a tune for it on my SCT GTX programmer. Love the truck to death 6.0L are fun. Also want to hit the dyno and see what she'll do
David is a trans builder first and foremost, mostly 5r. If someone is going to be able to break the 5r into the next level, it's going to be him. As mentioned the 4r is easier and proven. But David's goal is to prove the 5r is capable.

I wish he built whole engines because I’m in the army and don’t have that type of time to put in to a truck I would much rather just spend the money on a whole block but making that kinda power will just be a project for another day
The Diesel Podcast I see Yea 600 is definitely the perfect daily driver range stock can only take about 800 Without having to replace some internal parts gives a good buffer zone

Great interview 6.0L another Underdog that has amazing potential loved the interview
Thanks!
Yes sir. 6 liter Charlie keeter won’t ever die
Love my 6.0L!!! Thanks for all you do for the Diesel World & especially the Powerstroke!
Thank you, we'll keep it up!
I love the 6.0L why people hat them i dont know. They are very reliable. Especially when built.
They are proving to be great setups with a little work!
What about if they are not built ? Still reliable ?

6 liter is an awesome engine. Mines got 475,000 miles on it. I’d never trade it for a 7.3
I have 470,000
I got 350k. Currently rebuilding, shooting for 550-600hp.
If you win two years in a row you can’t compete... these guys don’t want that keeter 6.0 smoke!

Keeter says “ No body really fast is running a 5r” but if you watch DPC 2016 David Ferguson is running a 5r and is right there with him.

Keeters the best man !
Are you running 2or 4 wheel drive?
Charlie is on the money
I would love to know more about the 4r swap
what front bumper
How reliable are they with routine maintenance ?
Maintenance is key with this engine. The oil is literally the life blood, dont cheap up on certain parts and your good
Very, just dont cheap out on parts....OEM is best
kidlyfe that’s what I am hearing Some say you gotta change the oil cooler and egr and some say you don’t. Idk what to believe lol
@@PhilD54 it depends on your deltas(variance of oil and coolant) on certain situations
If you dont have a monitor id suggest you get one
Must have put a 12 valve in it
