One of the best and most genuinely heroic pieces of music since John William's score for Superman: The Movie. And in years to come it will just as iconic.
OcpCommunications That may take a little longer than expected because of Marvel's unwillingness to use consistent character themes across their advertisements.

This is one of the best peices of music in the MCU. It's criminally under appreciated and under used. I was so happy to hear a few strains of it in Endgame.
It’s such a shame this march never really took off because Henry Jackman neglected it in the film’s sequels. Such a wonderful composition by Alan Silvestri.
I disagree. Jackman used it in Winter Soldier. But once Civil War came around started using his own tracks. Luckily Alan composed the rest of the Avengers movies so Avengers 1, Infinity War, and Endgame all used the 2011 Motif. Danny Elfman who did Age of Ultron, also incorporated this theme. Elfman also sampled it for Peggy’s scenes in Multiverse of Madness
Captain America March, like the character it's created for, belongs to a bygone era and doesn't really have a place in the gritty, more cynical modern setting. However, if one notices, the theme itself isn't really gone and snippets of it played out at some points when Steve Rogers is doing something heroic or just being himself, reflecting that while he's a man out of his own time, the spirit that makes him who he is from the old days is still there and will always be there, no matter how much the world has changed. Put simply, while the march itself never took off, it's still officially THE Captain America theme. Henry Jackman's themes represent Captain America's inner struggle as he tries to reconcile his own ideals with how things work in the modern day.
@@Willy2537 not sure it's a struggle, i'd say jackman just modernised the themes for him, no struggle because he was still insanely cool in modern day, and the electronic sounds jackman brought in show that
@@leoholder7839 It's true that Captain America adapts rather well to modern times, but the core values that he believed it aren't as popular as in the old days, which is why he often clashes with modern day characters' more pragmatic solutions to address problems. His arguments with Nick Fury in The Winter Soldier and with Tony Stark in pretty much every film they appeared together reflected that. That being said, deep down the ideals that Steve Rogers believe in are still there within those characters, and it's thanks to the leadership he displayed that inspire his allies to be the best versions of themselves as well.
Hearing this theme after seeing the last episode of *The Falcon and The Winter Soldier* made me realize that Steve did the right choice by giving the shield to Sam. A Good man passing the shield to a better man. Let's hear it for the *Captain America!*
@@apenasumgeek3149 Oh, sure, man. Anytime. I actually came here after seeing the finale as well. And I think Steve would be very proud to see Sam as his successor.
I kind of wanted Bucky to get the shield, but Sam is still a really good choice, I just felt like it would be better off with Bucky, because he’s known Steve longer, and already knew how to use the shield, but I’m still glad Sam got it, because that suit was just, ooh man, good suit
RIP Stan Lee...you were always with us, an essential part of our childhoods and excitement in life. You were with us...till the end of the line. I salute you.
This is such a classic hero song. It reminds me of the original Superman track; like a 50s superhero song that doesn’t raise questions. Love every second 😁
I want this to play when Steve takes back on the identity of Captain America, standing for what America should be rather than what it is, saying "I could do this all day" as he battles Thanos
I'm seeing some disagreements with who's work is better, Jackman's or Silvestri's? Honestly, I do like the original soundtrack more than the WS soundtrack, but I think the feel to each one matches it's own movie quite well. The WS is more modern and takes place almost 70 years from the first Captain America, so I'd expect it to be much more different than the first soundtrack. However, I do respect everyones opinions!
,,I can do this all day" or maybe I can listen it all day Cap is the biggest patriot I've every know. Love Cap 3000 You are my fav hero! I want to be like You ( i'm going to go to the army in the future ) . Love You and greetings from Poland 🇵🇱❤️ #TeamCap
what a godly theme. one of the most fitting character themes of all time. i absolutely adore captain america: the first avenger and how much it feels like golden age Cap. and this theme is just a love letter to the character. Thank you Alan Silvestri
Captain America is supposed to represent what America can and should be at its best, and should strive for, and Alan Silvestri and the orchestra did a great job of capturing that in music.
+Wade Taggart well I am American man now and forever and I will always plead god bless America no matter where I am Cuz I am proud of the flag that waves above our heads everyday and to see a superhero who represents it fills me with excitement, God bless America and honor to the American dream :)
If you are going to be a hero promise one thing to yourself. That even though you might have change, you won’t do it completely because to be a hero you don’t have to be strong, fast, smart or special. But a good man will always be a hero.
Superman and Captain America: two superheroes from opposing companies who both represent and defend American values and people and inspire others to be just like them.
Thumbs up if this needs to be the new Army tune! A stirring, uplifting score that brings out the hero in all of us, and deserves to stand by John William's SUPERMAN score!
My favorite MCU theme. It perfectly captures the grand heroic nature of Cap. Hearing it just makes you feel good. I hope it plays when he returns to the shield and dons the Stars and Stripes in Avengers 4.
All soldiers and veterans are heroes. It's thanks to people like your grandfather that we enjoy relative peace and stability. More people need to recognize that. :)
Listening to this makes me happy and proud cuz it reminds me of Steve's story and how he was ready to sacrifice himself at any point. From jumping onto a grenade to leading the 107th infantry back to safety, he was always worthy. He went through the super soldier program despite knowing the dangers of it. When he was going through it, he was in a lot of pain but refused to give up and said that he can take it and went through with it. Through his bravery, he became Captain America but he still remained the pure hearted hero he was on the inside, which is what Dr. Erskine recognized in him and the reason why he pointed at Steve's heart before dying and that's what truly makes him Captain America. When he picked up Mjolnir in Endgame, like Thor said, "I knew it" cuz the moment he jumped on that grenade in the First Avenger, he proved he was worthy. In Age of Ultron, when everyone tried lifting Mjolnir, Steve moved it a little but he pretended like he couldn't just to save Thor from embarrassment, which just shows even more how worthy and heroic he truly is. Then his career ended with Endgame and I was so proud but I wanted to cry when he gave the shield to Falcon cuz I believe that nobody can replace him and if he was going to give it to anyone, it should've been Bucky. Bucky is literally the guy Steve was ready to give up *everything* for but he just ignored him in Endgame, like WHY?! Regardless, he is and always will be my most favorite avenger and the one who truly started the Avengers 🇺🇸
You mean like butt hurt Marvel fanboys when you tell them DCEU Superman would wreck everyone who was ever an Avengers in the MCU simultaneously except for possibly Vision?
For some damn reason, USSR style communism and Neo Nazism as well as white supremacy has been on the rise in the USA . I don’t know why that could be *cough* the president is a retarded senile racist *cough*

2011 - 2019 Thank you Chris Evans, for be Captain America, The first avenger!
luis adolfo navarrete fernandez yes I’m sad to see him go
He was the Human Torch too, true believer!
Hearing this theme after seeing the last episode of *The Falcon and The Winter Soldier* made me realize that Steve did the right choice by giving the shield to Sam.
A Good man passing the shield to a better man.
Let's hear it for the *Captain America!*
Sorry I'm 6 months late to reply.
But cheers to the new Captain America! 🍻 🇺🇸
@@jaredruff9823 It's ok, dude.
I'm happy that you reply
@@apenasumgeek3149 Oh, sure, man. Anytime.
I actually came here after seeing the finale as well. And I think Steve would be very proud to see Sam as his successor.
Better man? Let Mjolnir be the judge of that.
I kind of wanted Bucky to get the shield, but Sam is still a really good choice, I just felt like it would be better off with Bucky, because he’s known Steve longer, and already knew how to use the shield, but I’m still glad Sam got it, because that suit was just, ooh man, good suit
Captain we salute you on this 4th of July we are one as a country should, God Bless America and lets here it for Captain America!!!

This is such a classic hero song. It reminds me of the original Superman track; like a 50s superhero song that doesn’t raise questions. Love every second 😁
Still listening to this in 2017 :( i dont wanna see him go
Cristopher Remache congrats! He didn't go!
@@taloob493 you spoke too soon
I'm playing this in band at school:)

Running while hearing to this... I Recomend it to you
On your left.
on your lefttttt
Ro Tyler way to ruin it
if that's the case, I'm gonna need an extended version.
I want this to play when Steve takes back on the identity of Captain America, standing for what America should be rather than what it is, saying "I could do this all day" as he battles Thanos
RIP Stan Lee, you created this! You inspired a generation! Especially mine!
This piece is just oozing Captain America!
Who else is bringing their trash can lids to Winter Soldier?
Not me.
Alex Christmas You don't get the joke do you?
I'm seeing some disagreements with who's work is better, Jackman's or Silvestri's? Honestly, I do like the original soundtrack more than the WS soundtrack, but I think the feel to each one matches it's own movie quite well. The WS is more modern and takes place almost 70 years from the first Captain America, so I'd expect it to be much more different than the first soundtrack.
However, I do respect everyones opinions!
Yeah, I love the 1940's feel seen in First Avenger. But I still enjoyed the "On the Run" feel seen in Winter Soldier as well.
For Helghan. Death to Vektan scum! *Looks at Captain America*
That Winter Soldier theme though

You are my fav hero! I want to be like You ( i'm going to go to the army in the future ) . Love You and greetings from Poland 🇵🇱❤️

This is better than Superman, Star Wars, Batman, and all of them.
This at the end of the movie is simply amazing!
I would NEVER say it's better than anything that John Williams created, but I WOULD say that it's on an even field with Williams' work!
While I, personally, preferred "Man of Steel", this was *definitely* my favorite Phase One Marvel film (after "The Avengers", of course!) :)))
I absolutely loved his story arc final in Endgame. My favourite Avenger.
Lee Croft same here man
Much like John Williams’ theme for Superman, if you listen the music actually says the name “Captain America”.
what a godly theme. one of the most fitting character themes of all time. i absolutely adore captain america: the first avenger and how much it feels like golden age Cap. and this theme is just a love letter to the character. Thank you Alan Silvestri
Captain America is supposed to represent what America can and should be at its best, and should strive for, and Alan Silvestri and the orchestra did a great job of capturing that in music.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
YES, SIR, YES!
I want to like this, but seeing such an American comment with *76* likes...
+Wade Taggart well I am American man now and forever and I will always plead god bless America no matter where I am Cuz I am proud of the flag that waves above our heads everyday and to see a superhero who represents it fills me with excitement, God bless America and honor to the American dream :)
+nasaguy100 u could say that
CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!
I can listen to this all day!!
P.S. Happy Birthday Chris Evans!!!
DUN du-du-dun duuuuuuuuun, DUN du-du-dun duuuuuuuuun!!!
If you are going to be a hero promise one thing to yourself. That even though you might have change, you won’t do it completely because to be a hero you don’t have to be strong, fast, smart or special. But a good man will always be a hero.
Thanks for leaving the best track off the album, a-holes!

Gary Smith Bahahaha!
Thank You Chris Evans for Portraying, one of My Favorite Superheroes ever, good luck in your Future! 🙏
That you must stay who you are. Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.
I could listen to this all day
Probably the 3rd greatest superhero theme for a movie ever behind John Williams for Superman and Danny Elfman for Batman
Avengers theme
Superman and Captain America: two superheroes from opposing companies who both represent and defend American values and people and inspire others to be just like them.
This song is way underrated. It’s the best from all the Marvel movies. Yes, that includes the Avengers’ theme.
Definitely this song and The Avengers theme are the best songs in the MCU imo.
Thumbs up if this needs to be the new Army tune! A stirring, uplifting score that brings out the hero in all of us, and deserves to stand by John William's SUPERMAN score!
Here days after watchinb endgame. I heard this in the movie and just cried
Ancient Night same it brought tears to my eyes
Alan Silverstri is an absolute legend
My favorite MCU theme. It perfectly captures the grand heroic nature of Cap. Hearing it just makes you feel good. I hope it plays when he returns to the shield and dons the Stars and Stripes in Avengers 4.
My school band just played this today and it sounded so similar!!
All soldiers and veterans are heroes. It's thanks to people like your grandfather that we enjoy relative peace and stability. More people need to recognize that. :)
One of the most rousing pieces of music ever written. Absolutely superb. Makes you feel ten feet tall.
Laws, rules, honour, patriotism,
GOD BLESS AMERICA
We played this in band and I absolutely loved it. It made me so happy to play!😁
One of the greatest superheroes in the history of comic books!👍
Beautiful !
This music reminds me an other time, the time of IDEALISM !!
And this is why Captain America is my favourite Avenger.
I love how campy it is. It's so perfect. Silvestri is the man
even as someone who isn't super attached to the franchise, captain america's theme makes me so emotional and gives me a swell of joy in my heart
We will miss you Cap
Thank you for your unpayable service
matthew dulfo I’m sad to see him got but falcon will do a good job. HAIL HYDRA
Why so many thumbs down? This is a wonderful march.
+mng8ng and but hurt DC fanboys
You mean like butt hurt Marvel fanboys when you tell them DCEU Superman would wreck everyone who was ever an Avengers in the MCU simultaneously except for possibly Vision?
For some damn reason, USSR style communism and Neo Nazism as well as white supremacy has been on the rise in the USA . I don’t know why that could be *cough* the president is a retarded senile racist *cough*

best movie ever!!! like if u like this song and movie!!!!
+paul Herman It's NOT a song.
????????????

It's music, it's a theme, but not a song. Songs have lyrics, as they are poems set to music. This does not have words or lyrics, so is not a song.
This was part of my workout music before going into reconstruction surgery, which at my age carried some risks. But this stirring music helped inspire me on to an ultimately successful recovery. Thank you, Mr. Silvestri.
I had the opportunity of playing this song in a district middle school concert band. Such a powerful and inspiring piece by incredible Alan Silvestri.
