"Victory cannot be achieve without sacrifice" - When i think about that saying and this movie of Captain America it's based on real life soldiers who fought in world war 2. Captain America gave it all to change the course of history but it cost him his time to spend with the woman he loves. That's why the part where he says "i had a date" gets me all the time because real soldiers who served in WW2 didn't get the chance to life a normal teenage life, going to prom, having a girlfriend, having a wife, having kids, going to college, earning and making a good future rather they served even though it would cost them their lives. God bless our troops!
Not just the troops in the active fronts, you can include the resistance fighters behind the lines, who just fought on even when the security forces would easily find and kill them.
8 years ago I wouldn't in the life of me choose captain America as my favourite hero, but as time pass, he has become one of my favourite heroes of all time
When this played in The First Avenger, his choice was to give up his happiness to save the world. When this played in Endgame, his choice was to be happy.
No hate on iron man,but if it were cap who died and this theme played. The world would be balling their eyes out. I'm not saying iron man isn't a good hero, I'm just saying it for the sake of the music. Then he could've passed on leadership to Tony as avengers leader and Sam as new Captain America
Vinnie Fabian for the end Iron Man and Cap kinda switched their attitude. Cap was actually selfish for the first time and only thought about himself 100% and Iron Man did the ultimate sacrifice which would 100% kill him.
2:19 this gives me chills. I remember seeing this with my son in theaters. Nothing gives me chills except for a few things, and seeing Capt sacrificing his life to protect us in the states was so emotional. As the Valkyrie began to sink and this began playing I could feel a few tears on my cheeks. My brother served in Iraq, and hearing this music and watching the Valkyrie sink reminded me of him.
"This is My Choice" A fitting title for the theme played when Steve made some of his most important personal choices: The first when he chose to sacrifice himself and a future with Peggy to save thousands of lives. The second when he chose to reunite with Peggy after saving countless lives across the universe. The third when he chose Sam as the one to carry on the shield and legacy of "not a perfect soldier, but a good man."
