Thanks for watching 🙏🏽 make sure to like the video, it helps this podcast out a lot. Also subscribe to be notified when we drop a new episode, some amazing guests coming up! x
Thank you Steve, I recently saw one of your podcasts with Joe Wicks and wrote a response to what you said about your Mum about being a Nigerian, African loud woman
I heard your comment about black women at the end of this podcast and I truly appreciated the sentiment.
Another great podcast, they are life changing.
Thank you 💕
Love these 2 high performers bouncing ideas off of each other! So humble, kind, inspirational, and yet what seems to be true honesty and truth! Thank you team! Keep on doing what your doing in the way you are doing it! Very inspirational 👏
Jake is a top bloke, this is probably one of my favourite discussions so far, keep it up Steve! 🙂
amazing! thanks James 🙏🏽
I decided to watch every video on this podcast on the channel, I think am at about 10-15 videos right now and like I feel like this video has the greatest connection between the interviewee and the host. It looks a lot more like a conversation between friends than an interview
Absolutely love the analogy here about detachment from the circumstance by thinking of life like a video game - we can get so caught up sometimes in reality, and not thinking about the fact that we are not really us, we are not our bodies or our ego. It's not about deflecting blame on a negative outcome either but more like observing rather than being the current situation.
This is the most authentic interview I’ve ever seen.
I completely resonate with Jakes "fear of impending doom" and "worst case scenario" mindset. Since becoming a parent 8 years ago it seems to have gotten worse.
I have really enjoyed hearing Jake Humphreys in this way! 🤩 Great conversation Steve. #consistently #happily #relentless
best podcast episode I've listened too in ages
big love sam ❤️
Same
Another great addition to the podcast series. Strangely, I now don’t see Jake as a sports presenter but just a wonderful human being saying and doing all the right things to help make the world a better place.
The podcast was rounded off perfectly with his comments about under representation and ethnic minorities. Thanks again steve.
really glad you enjoyed this one 🙌🏾
One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. It covered lots of topics me and my friend discuss on a daily basis so it was reassuring 👌🏽
I think this is one of my favourite podcasts so far, well done Jake and Steve.
big love to you craig
The signing at the end always makes me chuckle! I feel so fortunate to have access to these podcasts.. life-changing beyond words. I only hope we can all put it into practice! There's something amazing about when you and Jake come together.. never what I expect. A huge thank you.. and here's hoping the pre-order proof is for an extra space available at the live show *sigh*
Wow wow wow, when he mentioned about underrepresented groups particularly black women! He completely got it! 🤩 You both do! I'm so inspired!
Blown away by this, i didn't know anything about Jake prior to watching this, inspirational!, top top man.
Wow, another interview which has completely blown me away. I’ve always enjoyed watching Jake on the sports channels but this was so interesting. The anxiety part about fearing the worst with regards to his children really resonated. I also nodded when he said “but that’s me” I’m the same but I totally accept who I am.
Really grateful to have found these podcasts. They really do help. Onto the next one...
This is soooo good and it was so worth to watch it, even though it was an accident I get here to watch that. From my heart, thank you Steven and thank you Jake. Pure truth, good basis to think clear, think positive and someday be successful = be happy, the one and only thing everyone really craves for and needs.
I religiously watch the podcast every week Steven, exceptionally insightful. I've heard you touch on it, but I'd love to hear more about how your dedication to business ventures affects your relationships. Entrepreneurial drive is misunderstood and a problem I run into often.
All the best!
Every time I think I just saw the best one of Steven’s Podcast, you come up with my next favorite…I loved listening to this conversation, thank you!
Can't believe I got through the entire podcast at 1:30am at night. Knowing my 2 year old will be waking up, and waking me up, not too long from now. Just couldn't stop watching! Amazing knowing someone born close to where I come from is having an impact like this. Have no standing to say this, but wow... Feel like a proud African while watching this. #Phambili
thanks so much for watching Keenan, I love your kind words brother! may you have the most amazing 2021 and your 2 year old sleep through the night... haha!
Loving the content, I always feel a sense of fulfilment after every episode. Can’t wait for the next one
can't wait to show you who we have next
OH MY GOOD! i just love Steven's podcasts ... I've been binging on all of them as I only just recently found out about Steven through Dragon's Den, the way that guests show up here, and let themselves be seen, what a real human being that they are is incredible. 👏👏Thank you so much and amazing work from everyone in the team and the guests 🎉
Only just watched this today. LOVE Pablo's cameo appearances 🐶. Top Dog of a podcast too, pardon the pun!
One of my favourite episodes this! Quality consistent content, you’ve made Monday’s my favourite day of the week.
glad we made your Monday ❤️
Great podcast! Working through your episodes. Love the High Performance one too! Keep them coming chaps 👊
Thank you so much for your series. Amazing. Refreshing. Can you do a podcast about ‘getting started’. Literally that concept, cause it’s the hardest part. The first step is the most important step but not discussed enough
56:48 Great insight on developing a personal brand on Instagram
Great episode 🙏✨ Jake always brings a good vibe and this episode was very inspirational for starting something new on your own for your own 💪😁 Thank you both 👏👏✨🙏❤️
Thanks Tobias 👍🏾 glad you enjoyed it
Got to be honest I didn’t know much about Jake but I now know he is such a good person. Please keep up the great content, I enjoyed this!
Hi from a new subscriber! This was my first taste of your podcast and I loved it. Loved the analogy of giving several things a 'C' or giving a couple of things an 'A'. So important to think about in a world where you're expected to be able to do it all
My favorite episode yet! Really engaging to watch an interviewer got interviewed lol. Lots of great questions asked and answered.
really kind of you to say randy!
Great discussion…Jake’s positivity 💪🏼
Another GREAT Podcast Steven.Seen another side to Jake, such a humble, inspiring, honest person and love the way,he is there to offer advice and support to other people.
Could relate to some things he said about worrying about things, time and hating people who,are nice to you only because of who you are.
I may have extra sharp ears, cause I could hear music or something in the background.
another banger steve! love how open he is and the flow of the conversation on this one.
thanks again Leslie
Interesting that Jake thinks that "this is how he is made". Getting to the root cause of his anxiety and healing it would be amazing :-)
This was great and refreshing to see someone so open about themself and one that has taken time to get to know who they are. I'll be sure to check out his Shaun Wane and Jonny Wilkinson casts. This is my new evening "TV show" much better than the crap on the box. I love watching it with the mrs as it sparks conversation into new areas. Keep it up SB 🙏
Thank you so much!
one of the best so far
Fantastic, loved this so much
Thanks for bringing on Jake, his high-performance podcast is awesome. Loved the interview he did with Ole. Also fascinating to hear about Jake's experience with Anxiety even being on broadcasting and presenting. Knowing how to ask quality questions to draw out more quality answers. Another awesome podcast interview 👏 P.S - how do we join the podcast cult? 🤔🤣
Great Pod! Only just discovered your channel, i like how you make your guests so comfortable that they can be honest about their lives and themselves.
Thanks Jack! Big love ❤️
So refreshing!
Great pod! Two nice fellas having a well thought through chat... great stuff :)
This is an excellent interview Steven. Very perceptive interview as well.
I attend the UEA. I've heard a lot about George and Coral Eyewear, quite incredible story and person. Yet to meet him though, i think. Anyway, great podcast once again. Well done both.
Another brilliant podcast!
I love your podcast Steve, it's got me seeing the 'other' side to your guests. I've fell in love with Jake after this. Amazing man! Another great podcast.
thanks so much selina!!
You’re welcome! Can’t wait to see what you have coming out this year
Good to see you back Steve, follow your story from a while back. Even started using some of your visualization techniques and in 6 months I've built a growing UA-cam and Facebook community. Thank you for sharing also Manchester based 🐝👐
thanks mate I really appreciate your following and good luck with all you are working on! ❤️
Best one yet. Just getting better and better Steven. Loving your 5hit!
thanks mate I really appreciate it ❤️
Best yet!
Really like the podcast the last point on having trouble finding successful women to come on your podcast. The reason I found your channel was because of Chrissy Cela!!
Great episode, Jake’s channel has many influential guests and very inspiring to listen to. Just wondering if that vacancy for your food channel is still available?
Steven, I happened across this on LI and loved the interview with Jamil Qureshi. So you have gained another subscriber. Loved the honesty from you both. (And will be seeking out some Huel).
big love Michael! have a great 2021!
Omg I thought this guy was so arrogant initially, how wrong I was. I resonate so much with him. What a great guy
Great podcast this week, love how Jake made his football comments United based knowing you are a fan. Interesting comments really lazy pitching, i get that loads and sometimes you take the time to email back and push for them to be more creative but sometimes its an eye roll.
thanks Grahame, glad you're enjoying these episodes
@@TheDiaryOfACEO yeah lovely comments about just starting too, i tell all my djs and producers to just start and do it and make it better. It's that Atomic habits mentally of improving the 1%'s. I'd love my podcast to be filmed in a nice studio with those lush mics but we will get there.
this was good.
My opinion -
I think his anxiety stems from having a struggle/trauma free life, so as a result he’s anxious that something terrible should happen to him at some point. Because nothing ever has. He should relax and enjoy his heaven.
My advice -
Meditate on letting unhealthy negative thoughts that don’t serve you, pass, just as quick as they came.
I do believe in the benefit of the doubt ,we can't just assume everyone knows.
There’s a great book called “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living” that Jake should read
Jay,someone bought me that book
that's a top, top book mate
Steven even I wanted to ask how did you do what you did? But I wanted to ask about making a video for it. I started following you just last year and because this podcast has been live changing I decided to watch from the first post on UA-cam till date. I started this I think two weeks ago or less and I’m on the episode but what I’m battle about is the last post isn’t episode 1 but 53
Can someone direct me to the first 52 episodes
Favourite to date,
Just so everyone knows. What Steven described is a breach of the Data Protection Act and GDPR. Legally you should share the breach with the client and Data commissioner
Hey Steven,
When you said that people should make decisions based on Probability of outcome and you explained the story of your friend and the passwords. Could you please go deeper about that?
I really need to understand this more, how can I work this out for myself? Like I want to do football as a career and I need trials to get into a club. How can I use this idea of making a decisions of probability to my benefit?
Thanks 😊
P.S. I think you should really collaborate with Jake more often, you two are awesome together 🤩
Wow-- And he did F1. With death and anxiety issues? Ballsy
"thought I was going to spill it all over your lovely rug" then continues to spill drink over rug
Love you in the Den...
if you’re noting jake humphrey as one of the worlds greatest 50 minds you’re taking the piss
We need more women of power, Steven I am counting on you!
I also sent you an email Steve regarding the education system be great if you could have a read!
Sooooo good
that angle with the back head of steve, please never again
Been watching your podcasts and they've been great watches. However, I feel like you threw Eddie Hearn under the bus with some of your comments. You two had a good chat and to go and slate his views was questionable to say the least.
Try get a Virat kohli who is an Talented Indian cricketer!!
💚💛🩷
Steven's clearly a very smart guy, and great presenter/interviewer. However, on this episode a couple of the bits of advice/thoughts were questionable:
(1) The probability point. Makes sense, but the example given was really bad... I suspect former clients would not be happy with the password exposure not being communicated fully (that 1% risk is on their business, not just your own!), treads on murky moral grounds, and I suspect murky legal grounds also.
(2) Calling out the 'man vs food' guy as an asshole... How do you know it wasn't just a bad day for him? We've all had them. Is calling people out publicly to hundreds of thousands on people really responsible?? Goes totally against some of the other logic presented on this podcast about mental health.
Just my thoughts - other episodes are great!
