I haven't edited properly in AGES, but I made a much shorter version of this for a collab part, and thought there might be more to the idea. Turns out there was - yey!
The story is pretty straightforward -
For as long as she can remember, it's just been Celebrían and her mother Galadriel, out on the open road, never staying in one place too long. But Celebrían begins to ask questions. Why has she never met her father?
Then by chance she meets Halbrand, and senses there's some unfinished business between him and her mother. She can also see there's something different about hm and is determined to find out what, even if it means leaving Galadriel and following Halbrand.
Then the truth is revealed: Celebrían is the daughter of Galadriel and Halbrand. And Celebrían thinks she can bring them back together. Even then, she's frustrated that no-one is telling her the full story. Until they capture Adar.
When Celebrían starts seeing visions, Galadriel knows it's time to leave. She spent all her daughter's life trying to keep her from Halbrand, Sauron, and now she must do everything in her power to keep her safe.
Celebrían finally sees her father for who he truly is, and to prevent war, destruction and death, gives herself up to him in order to end him.

Elle!! It is past 1am over here and I am sitting on my couch, rewatching this on my TV, and not trying to squeal too loud so I do not wake up my roommate. Honestly, I am speechless!! This is so so good, the drama, the tension, the way I need you to write a book with these vibes so I can sink my teeth into it. This idea is very AU but also very galaxy brain.
I love the fan casting of Celebrian, the way you used the scenes and voice overlays to capture emotion... I mean, I do not need to tell you how awesome your manips and colorings are, I do that every time.
Your editing is just on another level and you really knocked it out of the park with this one, seriously. It is perfect.
(And I am saying this as someone who has re-watched all your Haladriel videos lately, whenever I needed to get myself in the headspace for writing fantasy. Please, please, please, keep doing this, your videos are a true gift.)

The casting of Celebrían was perfect! I must disagree with this being very AU. In the world of the show it's totally plausible 😁 Also, Celeborn was always such a forgettable character, I wonder if they can fix that in the show. For now I am fully prepared to treat this video as canon.
