Good looks are definitely a factor in financial success and opportunities but women clearly have an easier time converting a surge of attention into financial gain without any effort/skill/talent that doesn't rely on their appearance. To the credit of Ms. Hawk Tuah, a podcast is at least an attempt to leverage her commentary rather than simply using the attention to promote spicy photos like many others would have done in her shoes.
OF is a prime example but we can use a less biased industry for arguments sake. Let's say two new streamers suddenly got 10k viewers, both are playing the same game the same way with a facecam and no added commentary. I think that society at large has been brow-beaten over the past decade+ by marketing and advertising into becoming mindless social media sheep. Their programming tells them to follow the crowd, who they should attach to next, and what should offend them. Going 'viral' was a rare lightning strike up to the early 2010's that defined small periods in time and sometimes rightfully elevated people into the spotlight. That whole concept has been held hostage by advertising and marketing departments since then, and has been put to work to sell you products and steer your attention to where/what they want. I honestly don't understand how more people can't make the connection between the marketing of social media and people like this girl. They're trying to sell you 'genuine' while the whole thing is entirely 'artificial'. We will never get out of this cycle, and marketing agencies will continue to run the internet, until a majority of people wake up to this concept of forced consumption and simply lose the taste for fake goods.

It costs $30k to build a tiny home to house a homeless person. Or you could bring Hawk Tuah girl to your party on Long Island. We need to shame rich people wayyyyy more.

Meh. Who says that homeless person deserves a house, or that a rich person can't spend it elsewhere? People can spend their money however they please, and I think the Hawk Tuah shit is the most braindead thing in human history. Still, it's their money.

No. Homeless people need to lay off the drugs and earn a living. Yes %99 are there by their own actions.

The people always saying this are just like everyone else. As if you're going to buy someone a fucking $30,000 house if you had money. And also they're not just giving her $30,000. That's an investment to have her on the show.
