Bridge over Troubled Water is a song by American songwriter Paul Simon and recorded by the music duo Simon & Garfunkel. The song was released as the follow-up single to "The Boxer" in January 1970.
Im playing in E Flat, Im mostly playing the standard changes with some gospel moves and a few chord subs. Love the Aretha version and tried to use some of her intro ideas and bass lines. Felt like this was a fitting song given the current environment. Also want to give a big shout out to Richard Tee, one of the best piano players ever. He has an insane intro to this when he toured with Simon and Garfunkel. Thanks for listening!
