I’m picking up a 73 plate Xceed in the GT line next week; and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel. The review posted was really helpful in my decision to buy one - thank you.
I bought a MK3 Ceed Gt-line 1.0t as an emergency purchase after my Audi A4 Avant broke down and was waiting for parts. I was so impressed that once the Audi was repaired, some 7 months later, that I kept the Kia and sold the Audi! Since then I bought a MK3 Ceed Sportwagon 1.4t First Edition with every extra that Kia has available for the model. It's a brilliant car that is better built than the many German cars that I have owned over the last 16 years
I've been enjoying the PHEV version of the Xceed for one year now. Perfect for my usage... Got a streak of over 3000km with a single tank, then used the hybrid system for the 1000km trips holidays The car feels much more like a hatch than a big SUV, punchy agile and easy to park. They are really rare in France compared to the Miro so it feels like driving an exotic car
Had my second hand Xceed (two years old) with all the trimmings for nearly three weeks now. I do about 200 miles a week on back roads and motorways and it's a joy to ride in. Prefer the old look but it's the same great car. Surprised at the grip and smoothness. You didn't mention the auto park and ventilated seats but they're there! Found the seat comfort fine but change position from time to time. Also love the auto hold which makes city driving easier. Very agile but a bit too big to call nippy. VERY responsive on the motorway. Premium feel you'd expect from a Merc. Averages out at about 45mpg. Great car!!
I'm the proud owner of a 2020 Xceed 1.4 manual First edition in the Yellow colour. The car has everything you could possibly need including a spare wheel which came with the car.The 1.4 has plenty of power and is smooth as silk but me being me,mate owns a rolling road for tuning purposes it now makes 171 bhp,I don't use the power but it's nice to have it if you feel like a bit of a dash. The only criticism I had with the car was awful road noise from the fitted as standard Conti 5'S tyres,I could only stand this up to 5500 miles.Fitted new Goodyear Asymetric 6, tyres, the road noise has all but gone, the car now handles much better though it wasn't bad in the first place.I can't see in the near future getting rid of car it's so good and still looks like new.
Hi, I got one recently. Took less than 12 weeks from order to delivery (in Europe). Went for the GT line with all the extras. I love it, so easy and fun to drive and some nice touches with the electric and heated seats and the driving assistance additions. I recommend it for the value for money and price point.
@@briansheridan6915 Hi. Had my XCeed GT line S over a year now. Had no problems. I love it. Not to big so my wife’s happy to drive it. I would highly recommend. I bought an ex demo with 2000 miles. Excellent condition. Roughly about £5000 less than brand new. Good luck
Used to have a C’eed, which was a great car. Part ex’ed it for a new Xceed GT S Line, as you say, this is a fantastic motor, loads of handy tech, and it’s pretty punchy too. Definitely worth the money.
I'm the owner of the Ceed saloon. I've got a few minor niggles. For one thing the gear ratio of the 6-speed-manual could do with being a bit wider, to make long-distance trips more comfortable and relaxing. For another thing the 4 cylinder engine sounds a bit unsophisticated and raucous, nothing serious but you do notice a certain lack of refinement. Other than that the KIA Ceed definitely is a decent car which I can wholeheartedly recommend.
I asked about this. I was told by the dealer (when we bought one yesterday) that this is because the engine is identical but because of emission control, they have re-tested the power output and re-stated as 138bhp, even though it is the same engine.
To AJ - What is factory name of this color? You said gray, but there is one gray in the palette, but it's yuka steel gray, a bit green. Or maybe it's lunar silver? Does anyone know?
Thank you for your answer.I already know this because I pick up my Lunar silver from dealer a month ago (after three months of waiting). The more I drive it, the more I like this color. This is THE ONE!
One remark: those smoked tinted rear clusters ONLY come with GT line version. I'm not a fan of that bee-vibe detail, I prefer ordinary rear XCeed lights (not really ordinary as they are all full LEDs).

I bought for two years, one off this little car, i drove 20k km and i think is a great. The consumption is ,6,5l/100 km. Very punchy. I love it
Brilliant vidio of the car , hopefully going to have test run very soon , keep up the great work you are doing !!
Great vid thanks (though skipped the intro piece)

I'm onto my second in July. Absolutely love the car. I didn't even bother looking at any other vehicle as it's such a great drive.
Great review mate, our car broke down and we had an Xceed on hire AJ, we loved it that much we went out and ordered one, happy days.
Great review - thank you

Well done! what about the stabillity in high speeds? does ti feel stable over 140-150 km/h?
@@ΠΑΝΑΓΙΩΤΗΣΤΟΜΑΡΑΣ-σ8π only been up to 120km so far and absolutely no issue at all. Feels fun and stable. Highly recommend a test drive.
Brilliant car. Had one for 6 months now. Bought the GT Line S. great review. Sums up the car exactly.
Hello, 6 months later what do you think of the Xceed. Went to look at the Sportage yesterday don't think I need such a big car now.

I couldn’t agree more. I love my Xceed!
Hi AJ, I did’t see the ambient light. Is this option available on the XCeed Kia model? Thanks!
The wife and I have just ordered the model 3 xceed as she has been awarded motability

Excelent review ! What will be better manual or automatic gear box? Cheers!
I own a manual and it’s a great car however I think the auto is the better option
Which engine is the best?
It would be nice to see a video on the 2024 hyundai kona hybrid ultimate AJ , brilliant video's. Keep the good work up, 👍👍👍
Bit confused regarding the 1.5 litre petrol engine, you say it's 160bhp yet the website says its 138bhp.

Why oh why do we not have a self charging hybrid option
Is it the same as the Proceed? Except that being an estate?

I have a 2023 ISG 2.. And the internal air flow won’t go off, Also Leg circulation stuck on.. Is this normal?
What color is it exactly?
I want to ask how about engine response after you start accelerate? Because new peugeot 308 is like some seconds till car reacts
The vehicle in the review pulls away in second into third very powerfully. It was the first thing I noticed when I first drove the car.
My gt line pulls lovely in 2nd and third. First gear is a little short
How are the brakes on the Kia XCeed?
I have the gt line 1.5 petrol. 2023 the brakes are nice a little sharp but as a driver i prefere more bitey brakes
Does anyone else get 25mpg on every day driving & 44mpg motorway? Manual gt line s
Intro way too long😮
I skipped it. Hate intros longer that a second and prefer none at all👍🏼
I test drove one many years ago. I am 6ft1 and there was no room behind my seat for an adult.
