Jim Cornette is absolutely invited to the cookout. And he'd have everyone rolling. He'd be singing all the older songs and having everyone cracking up. I'm more suspicious of Brian. Some of his energy seems off.

I listen at the gym a lot. The other day, another gym goer, whom I politely talk wrestling with from time go time, was sharing his opinions on modern wrestling. I insinuated he was a Corny fan because he sounded exactly like Jim. He immediately got uncomfortable and told me Jim was a racist and a misogynist. I asked him why he thinks that, and he couldn't give me one example. Still he swore he'd never listen to Jim even though he shared all of Jim's opinions on everything. He'd heard "things", not on Jim's shows, and they were apparently problematic. It's a weird cult over there.
I've asked those same questions to people. I've either heard exactly what you stated or something about the fried chicken joke or the n-bomb dropped back in the 80's. Some of those same people are currently...and I mean CURRENTLY as in right this second...Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan fans. People simply have no clue what they are doing.
Had a friend do the same thing, yet couldn't produce shit to substantiate the claim. Of course, he went SO far left, he's become as illiberal as a Trumpster.

But people have no inherent ability to edit themselves and go way off the deep end being "sensitive" (because I'm not really convinced that is what they are being) about shit that just doesn't require their concern. Then people like Brian get pissed and say "everyone is too sensitive" and the stuff that might REQUIRE some thought and sensitivity gets lumped in with the bullshit. Dude was booked for what I assume is the main event of AEW's next pay-per-view as part of Team AEW, and 2 weeks before that, he works a show for NJPW. You'd think he'd take it easy with an important PPV on the horizon. Nope. This is a match with no ropes on the ring, there's a table set up on the outside, and his opponent lifts him up for a suplex from the mat to the outside. Instead of his opponent landing on the mat and dropping Eddie onto the table, his opponent launches himself so that he drives himself through the table, and there's literally no room at all left for Eddie to land on the outside so the back of Eddie's knees bounce off the top of the guard rail and they think he's now got a broken leg.
Yeah... let's do that spot 2 weeks before he's scheduled for an AEW PPV. And to write him out of the match, he's gotta get beat up by a bunch of children to explain why he can't make it to the AEW PPV. This is the buffoonery that these booger-eaters defend.

I’m a 31 year old black man and athlete who listens to this podcast every day/week for the last 5 years. I love this podcast. Jim always makes me laugh. I don’t agree with every single take he has but I do not think Jim is racist. He just doesn’t like most women wrestlers and Japanese Indy wrestlers lolol People are soft as fuck and annoying.
Of course the Black guy would think that racism ONLY applies to them. 🤣

People are pussies nowadays. I don’t agree with Cornette’s political or religious viewpoints. But I listen to the show because he is entertaining, an amazing talker, and when it comes to wrestling logic. He is largely on point. Very insightful with great humor:
I'm the same way. I'm actually neither a liberal or a Conservative, and I'm not religious myself but I don't put them all in a box either. I care more about individual traits then groups. I love Jim. Even if he hates on a Wrestler I like. He's allowed to his opinion just like I'm allowed to disagree. Hell I'm an AEW fan but can admit it's going downhill fast. The fans that think everything Tony Kaun does is pure gold are completely delusional. I swear TK could take a shit in the middle of the ring and they would cheer.
