I think we all agree it's so sad when they break down.
Allowed not aloud, Aidan O'Brien runs his horses to win, and many times the winner from his yard has not been the favourite, so suggest you keep opinion to yourself rather than making unfounded accusations
The Horse had His Tail Stuck out most of the way and Is obviously a difficult Ride. Aiden o Brien is the Ultimate Pro Whatever Anyone Thinks of Coolmore
The incident for San Antonio could have been avoided, obrien really didn’t need 5 runners out of the 9 to be his, it’s far too many in my opinion. Condolences to all connections and a great win for Rodin.
@Henrietta I understand what point you are trying to make, but it wasn't a particularly big field, but I do find it a little questionable why a top trainers would want to run that many in a race where he had a clear cut favourite.
When will people start to understand that its the owners who call the shots, o'brien obviously consults but if an owner has a horse in training with o'brien than they have every right to run it

@@JohnMarkss Absolutely, he only started riding once Moore had gone past him in the final furlong, I was surprised Heffernan didn't pat Moore on the back when he got besides him and say go on son.

@@JohnMarkss I will be honest, I'm one of the biggest defenders when I hear bent races, but I can't defend it today, I saw it and honestly thought I was just being a little too negative about Augustine Rodin but as soon as I read some comments and reviewed the race, I knew I was correct the first impression, Heffernan doesn't pick up his stick until Moore has past him, any other jockey would have gave their horse a backhander before the furlong pole and gone for the line.
Very sad about San Antonio. The connections of King Of Steel should have run him here instead of Royal Ascot, he would have won this race. Auguste Rodin is a very average Epsom Derby winner.

Poor San Antonio looks he broke his right front leg in running............God Bless RIP.😔
A real pity takes the a little joy out of the victory on the day.
Have to feel sorry for the stable staff also.
Why do horses legs break whilst running ? Are they running too fast ?

Heff playing the wing man. Yet Dettori gets 9 days. Rotten to the core. It’s like legalised mafioso
Could be a great horse
aidan and his staff and wayne..will be heartbroken..

Lets be honest. Heff stopped riding the second, and let Moore win..

That was my first take on the race the moment I watched it, he was clearly waiting for Moore to get past him.
