I love the subtle shoutouts to Jonas @ 0:35 and Dani at 1:24 :)
And Brackeys @ 3:02 :)
Haha, sharp eyes! 😜 Living indie game-dev legends!
Oh no I glanced at my phone right as you mentioned it. I'm gonna have to implement some of these, great tips!
Maybe don’t throw your phone away though! 😉😂
How do you only have 3.5k subs, this channel is amazing!
Thank you Alex! I really appreciate the support! 😁
Great video, I'm glad that I've discovered this channel.
Amazing tips on a criminally underrated video.
Thanks! I’m really glad you found it helpful! 😁
The milk joke is awesome! :D great video!
I did the same thing, watching avatar during dinner time. But I ended up binging it :(
Very nice video btw. I got motivated to work harder today!
It’s such a great series haha, so I don’t blame you! 😂 Thanks for the support! 😊
Very cool tips; I hope most people get through to #11 (discipline) because that is the most difficult and most important. I loved the edit here, all your hard work really paid off!
Thanks Rob I really appreciate it! And yes, discipline is key! :)
AWESOME video Daniel! Our should I say, Daniel D'Avella ;D I agree with your tips, especially taking notes and to get moving. I sort of plan with trello, but I like how you have the whole week laid out and organize by day. Might have to try that. Really well done video, and I appreciate the effort to learn the Mii song xD
and yeah, I'm one of those people. You can't take away my lofi
Thanks Garrett! I really do appreciate it! :D
I've been organizing by day ever since the beginning of making devlogs, and now I can't imagine doing it any other way! While I recommended looking into using Trello in the video, sometimes you might need more control, and so creating a quick Google Doc for the week could be a better option!
Haha, and thanks! I used to play when I was younger, but that was a very long time ago, and I've forgotten everything from then... I'm currently learning how to play "River Flows in You" by Yiruma! Amazing song that always brightens my mood! :) Can't listen to it while I work though... funny how different people are! xD
@@DanielLochner Cool! Yeah part of me wants to learn piano or some other instrument, but I don't have enough interest in it. Hope the progress goes well!
Congrats on 600 subs!!!
Thanks! :D
To me the "plan your day" part is the most important. If I dont plan, no matter how much I do, I'll feel that I haven't done anything meaningful
Exactly! If you don’t plan, you’ll find yourself aimlessly wandering through the development process... and never get anything done! That’s why I put it first! 😁
I necessarily need to get into the thing with "morning person". :)
Haha, it's difficult to get up early in the beginning, but definitely worth it! :D
Salutations from Reddit !
Nice video
Thanks! 😄
Yay vid
Thanks for the support! I really do appreciate it! :D
Milk! Nice video :)
Haha, drink your milk! ;D Thanks for checking out my video as well! I appreciate it!
1:21 lol
Daniel: Get rid of distractions
Me: *Looks at youtube* uhh *looks at Daniel* I dont know if I can do that... I'm not really the good at programming yet...
Haha! 😂 Don’t worry though, you’ll get there! 😄
Disconnect from the internet, I'm going to try that.
Hopefully you finished watching until the end of the video before you did! 😉😂
hi. im currently working on a game and uploaded 3 devlogs so far. i would appreciate if you check them out!
Awesome! Keep going! :)
Can you make your game very detailed
Of course! Do you have any suggestions? Any areas of the game I should focus more attention to detail on? :D
Its maybe a bad idea but could you make a open world game
Or make the environment ver detailed like weather or wind or missions where you fight under water
Great! I’ll see what I can do! Thanks for the support! 😁
I love what you are doing
