Installing My Oil Pressure Regulator

In this video, I install my turbo smart 40psi oil pressure regulator onto my Rx7. The Borg Warner s362sxe was getting to much oil and smoking so I added this to lower the oil pressure

TurblownEng yeah I was looking into where I could put it and remembered the drain on the rear iron. I was going to try to tie it into the front cover but it was easier/cleaner to put it in the oem location

If u put a pressure gauge in it will it just show 40psi or is it before the regulation

Do you have to drain it back to the oil pan? I was thinking about getting this for my FD because im having issue with the cold side getting oil in it.
Also what pressure did you set it at? it comes 40 psi correct?

Yes it drains into the rear oem turbo drain, it is a set pressure at 40psi. Works great!

So this does not lower the pressure in the rest of the block right?

Correct! Just after the opr which is to the turbo

@@Dustinhanson31 my drain fitting is slightly pointing down. Will try to fix that and see if it helps the smoking in exhaust
