You forget to told about vroom's weird pokedex entry where it state that, the different species of poison type pokemon was possessed an engine and become a vroom.
Talonflame has 126 base speed, while Kilowattrel has 125 base speed. Talonflame can fly at 310 mph, while Kilowattrel can fly at 430 mph according to their pokédex entries. So despite having a higher speed stat (by 1 point), Talonflame is actually slower than Kilowattrel based on their entries.
classic gamefreak logic 😂
Yeah it’s pretty much proven that the stat doesn’t mean how fast the Pokémon actually moves.
@@Dawg347 Looking at you, Purugly. A fat cat, that's faster than a pair of jet planes.
My personal take is
Base speed of a mon = reaction speed
Instead of it being top speed it could be reaction speed (as mons who are as fast as jets are slower than literal fat cats) and it would make far more sense
@@Emu_otori_the_real_one3906 it explains how purrugly is faster than latios and latias since cats have very fast reaction times
One fact for Kilowattrel:
Wattrels Scarlet entry says that it dives into the ocean to electrocute its prey, while Kilowattrels Violet entry says that there’s little oil in its feathers, making it a poor swimmer. So basically one evolution made it unable to dive into the ocean to get one small fish Pokémon (or at least that’s what’s implied)
No one asked for it, but I would like to share a fun fact about baxcalibur because it wasn't featured in part 1 and I really like it.
I have seen a lot of people say it is just godzilla and the legendary sword Excalibur, but not quite.
I live in Spain, and near my home a biface was discovered, one of the mlst important ever seen. This ancient tool (ancient, and therefore you think of dinosaurs even if they are prior) is special for being two colored, and it might be one of the first rituals dated. It was also found in a cave in Atapuerca, specifically Sima de los Huesos (chasm of the bones), a big cave with lots of animal bones. Not dinosaurs (not even concavenator, a spanish dinosaur baxcalibur is based on), but it can definetly be mistaken as it.
Lastly, in Atapuerca it used to be extremely cold, which helps along with thermoregulation with baxcalibur's ice type
You’re right, no one asked. You are not the beacon of knowledge we asked for.
But the one we needed.😂❤
I love that pawmi's line is so similar, it's funny that even their names can be interchanged, they are a good line for me, like a more subtle version of the dudunsparce concept
Varoom took away Regigigas' signature ability Slow Start, and used to be the sole owner of this ability until Gigas was introduced back in the DLC.
Revavroom has even more Car Motives references by moves like Overheat and Crash moves
Toedscool line and Brute Bonnet are our Gen 9 mushroom mon. It is interesting that they went for mons similar to old ones for the odd gen mushroom this time around.
Almost 30min of facts/believable spectulation???
Bless you 😭 I know the longer videos are rougher editing/writing/recording/sound editing/etc etc, but I promise we appreciate the effort !!
Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot! ❤️
You sure have it coming 😊
A fact for sandy shocks that you can use for the second one
Its shiny having a copper and lead coloration might reference the fact copper was the first metal used by humans and lead was the second
Amazing video once again dude. Can't wait to see the facts about Houndstone and Miraidon, my two favorites from Gen 9.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Satla is not called that for having SALT in its name, since in spanish it means "jump".
There are three versions about the origin of this name:
-One indicates that it came from the tagaretes (natural water channel or channel), swamps and ditches that were abundant in the valley at that time, to which the need to jump to avoid them was due.
-Later it was related to the Aymara word SAGTA (beautiful place).
-Today these versions are rejected, since it is known that it was the name of an Aboriginal community that inhabited the territory of the current capital that gave its name to the city and then to the province.
The tinkaton line is actually that way because they make their hammers from shiny corvinight
It's not. If you *actually* look the colours are very different. Shiny Corviknight is silverly/light grey while the metal used by the Tinkatink line is coppery
This is not true. If anything the shiny colours look more like Cufants colours
I just got my Histrobea Folkachi plush and limited edition TCG card yesterday! The plush is one of the highest quality I've ever seen. It feels even better than my Official Pokemon branded plushes it's so nice!
When I saw your videos about your game I really wanted to buy a plush to support and the limited edition card was a definitely worth it bonus! I hope we all get to play a demo one day and eventually a full-fledged Histrobea Chronicles game :)
Thanks for all the awesome videos, Hoops!
24:10 Another "Little Girl, Big Hammer" character (and one of my favorites) is Sena from Xenoblade 3
I love that you brought it up, cuz when I saw Tinkaton, I immediately thought of Amy :D
2:25 my favorite Paldean starter
You just blew my mind in so many ways!
Awesome!!!❤❤💯💯
Fun video, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Salt has the same associations metaphysically and spiritually in every other culture as well. It’s not just Japan. That’s global. That’s universal. Heck that’s why they make a circle of salt in Hocus Pocus!
Yes, at some point every culture has assumed bad spirits made food go bad. Salted food takes longer to go bad (jerky made with salt exists in every culture in some form) and therefore salt purges bad spirits from food.
Quaquaval dances Samba, a Brazilian dance. (The -aval part of the name comes from Carnaval, a carnival where people dance samba).
Quaxly is probably from a Brazilian based Pokemon region.
Or an undisclosed african region. Samba originated in west africa, with brazil the descendant of that
Another fun fact about pawmi
It sounds similar to a certain jester from a popular web animated series
The title of the video made me think he would have 120 facts per Pokémon. That would have been hard to do.
So the next legends could possibly have the water duck as a starter option (since it's from a diff region)?
How did I I not know that turountula could do that
In regard to Quaquaval, I'd really love if Pokémon fans to stop thinking a Pokémon having a "thing" means it needs access to every move of that "thing."
Awesome Pokemon dude
I don't care what anyone says scovillian is the best gen 9 pokemon ever in fact it is probably in my top 10 favorite pokemon of all time
17:33 Regular and Shiny forms
5:21 - Not sure if you omitted this on purpose or not, but quick addition on Quaquaval... Specifically it is HEAVILY based on Brazil Carnival dancers. It's look inspired by the "Mas" costumes the dancers wear, the dance it does is similar to the Samba, and even the name is a mix between "quack" and "Carnival"
In fact, Quaxly's pokédex entry sets this up by mentioning that it migrated from a faraway land... Which would have been the pokémon version of Brazil.
I bet that another reason that finizin and palafin have the same cry is because palafin in zero form is just a disguise. Like how superman disguises himself as Clark Kent, a common citizen
Kilowattrel isn’t even the only line to get wind power. The Bramblin line gets it too
No they don't. The Bramblin line have Wind Rider as an ability, which is different.
Meanwhile, female oinkologne has the ability “aroma veil”.
So they keep up the Mushroom trend in Pokemon but NOT The Eeveelutions in the Even gens?
I still have to wonder if Skeledirge's Shiny may be based on the main character of the book that Akinari Kamiki wrote in Persona 3/Reload's Sun Arcana Social Link or if it's all just an incredible coincidence.
On the subject of Revival Blessing, I also would not be surprised if, were Zeraora to reappear in the future, it might possibly be able to learn that move, as well, as it, too, stores electricity in its paws, and thus would have the capability of working as a defibrillator, as well.
while shiny Klawf could be based off of blue lobsters, as you said.. another theory could be they are supposed to nod at the Maryland blue crab
Kilowattrel is based on a frigatebird, a tropical oceanic bird that spends most of its time flying and can’t swim. They are common around Latin America, which were Portuguese and Spanish colonies at one time.
☝️🤓 Ummmm actually, shedinja also skips the evolution animation when nincada evolves. He just shows up in your party
Does Shedinja count as an evolution? I mean technically Ninjask is the evolution, Shedinja is the byproduct.
You know Folkachi would make a great pokemon regardless. Whether as a starter pokemon or not. If you have gamefreak take a look at that stuff animal hopefully they will turn it into a pokemon someday. You should mention it to the pokemon company.
You should probably make an update to this video soon. Because riddler knew when the dlc wasn't out yet that the teal mask had 7 new pokemon and the indigo disk had 8 new pokemon and that is exactly what we got. But he also said +1 we're probably going to get a second mythical
Kilowattrel looks like an albatross to me. Maybe that can be a fact?
8:01 so what you're saying is, the pawmots palms are closer to baymax than iron man
Here's a fact for Kilowattrell!
It's based on the frigatebird, which despite living around the world, does not live in Spain. Why is it in Paldea, then? It's from the Caribbean Islands, and Christopher Columbus was one of the people who discovered it for European science.
I love the Armarouge family
nice
Dachsbun should have been a fairy/fire type.
I personally think that the shiny form of dolive is different because arboliva has brown olive. I think that probably what they are talking about. Cool theory tho
20:44 Blue Lobster Jumpscare
Kilowattrel is pretty much a pirate bird considering its inspirations.
I can see a mushroom Pokemon potentially (veeery subtly) taking on a drug reference.
Actually a lot of Pokémon in gen 1 share a cry
Can you do some more what if more legendary Pokémon had mega evolutions, I would like to see the creation trio pls
Tinkatink's hammer is the color of a shiny corviknight. That's why it's brown. Not because it's rusted.
Corviknights shiny = Silver
Tinkatink shiny = copper
Copper ≠ Silver
Shiny Tinkaton's hammer is also the same color as shiny Corviknight
It's actually not. Shiny Corviknight is silver shiny Tinkatink's hammer is copper
The shiny Tinkatink and its evolutions aren't rusty, there using Copper or Bronze.a reference to the copper and bronze age compared to the regular Iron age Tinkatinks.
The Copper and Bronze age did predate the Iron age though.
I think another reason for the rarity is most Tinkatink reforge Corviknight armour to make their hammer. Shiny ones couldn't find a Corviknight so improvised from something else.
I think it’s that Tinkatink (+evos) hammers are made from shiny Corviknight
@@askcosplaysenpai I considered that but the colour of shiny Corviknight is more silver/white drawing on the white knight/white raven concept.
Tinkatink's hammer is more Copper/Bronze tone. More like Cufant......🤔😱
I'm going to stop thinking about that now.
23:00 pretty sure it it’s my meant to represent rust, but to resemble corviknights shiny
Nope, wrong metal colour I'm afraid.
Toedscool & Toedscruel somehow resembles Tentacool & Tentacruel
Nonsense Naclstack is beautiful I Love The favorite Design For My Opinion
"Cooly"
Because it's Rare And Interesting I Love
Am I the only one that doesn’t hear the bramblin reference?
I heard it
You mention that 404 is a web error, but you don't mention that it is the error for Page Not Found, and Spidops is based on a spy, something that does not want to be found?
Fun fact: Many westerns were inspired by Japanese Samurai films.
Just so you know the dlc Pokémon aren’t paldea Pokémon there nova and kitakami the only one from paldea is terapagos
They’re Unova
Hi remember me
Varoom'w name made me think of the Chevy Nova, that sold really poorly in Spanish speaking countries because No-va literally means no go in Spanish lol
But that actually isn’t true. It’s just an urban legend

how are you running around as your pokemon lol
Shroodle looks like a paint brush though?
I quote “I can’t confirm this as an official fact”. So not a fact but speculation. Not even 4 minutes in you fumbled this one.
No Not DC Comics But Rather Marvel Comics or Better And New Would be Nice. I Don't Want Pokemon To be Inspired By Warner bros Universe And Whatever NO, I Don't Want And Not Into That. I Only Love it In (My Childhood To Say) The Yaxibota Period Disney Epic Action Animated Universe I Wanted To Be For Me In My Opinion.
About Tinkaton's, Finizen's & Palafin's Fact
I Don't Want Pokémon, Animé Epicness To be Gone From Disney, I Wanted It To Stay And To keep In Disney Animated Universe of The Yaxibota period 2001-Present Because That's My Childhood Answer And Love Of That Hopes, Nostalgias, Wonders, And Childhood.
the dolive "fact" is massively incorrect. green olives are green. black olives, like the ones on pizza, are fermented. when olives ripen they re a different shade of green. the olive pokemon would never be black. this info gives NO info about shinies and they cannot turn themselves into a different species.
You know if you ask the internet is does tell you that they are the same plant only Black olives are harvested when ripe while green are harvested early.
Ripe fruits are often picked as a way to preserve them until they get sold though as most fruit still slowly ripens once picked.
How can someone play as a Pokémon 🥲❤️
You mean breed of dog…all breeds are the same species
ai art during the squackabilly part? thats pretty lame and lazy :/
There isnt any AI art and it wouldnt be lazy
@@ChicagoMel23at 11:52 there is an AI generated image of women in rockabilly clothing, one of them has three arms and one has a foot long index finger. Its lazy to use an AI generated image instead of using literally anything else
Of course asians eat the nest of birds why wouldn't they lol
Well famine, food shortages and the need for survival alongside exclusivity automatically meaning expensive a great way to show do lead to some interesting food preferences around the world.
Caviar is an specific fish egg. Fugu in Japan can and has killed before and Mince Pies were originally made with Sweet meats, a method of using honey to preserve meats and fruits through winter (in the same container).
This Gen is one of the worst imo since Gen 4
