Rande Howell turned everything around for me. Went from reckless "gotta win" guy to a patient consistent profit guy thanks to him. I was able to quit my job and have been doing this for 3 years now, account has steadily grown every year on top of paying all my bills. I take losses all the time, no big deal now because they are small, not giant blowups. I still watch his vids all the time to stay in the correct mindset. Highly recommended. Thanks Rande!

There's good wins and bad wins - all contribute to SUCCESS.
    1. Good win - hitting profit targets.
    2. Bad win - taking profit too early.
    3. Good loss - hitting stop loss.
    4. Bad loss - not placing a stop loss.

This is exactly what I have been working on, and yet so few people have talked about it correctly. Psychology and trading coaches talk about it a bit, but successful traders don't really dive into it. They talk about setups. No setup matters if you can't trade it because your mind is not right. Thank you very much for this content. In the thousands of videos that I have watched about trading, this is one of my favorites of all time

I am started my second group course with Rande and his wonderful wife Delores this coming January. I took his course starting in March and it was awesome. Real game changer not in just trading but in life. Mindfulness is key and you realize how easy you drift into mindlessness where low frequency disctractions are waiting for you. I pretty much pinpointed my issue which is my desire to be liked and be right, in which the market can give two shits about. I now meditate multiple times a day to stay in my observer and constantly check my heart rate. I know how to attack the day and the charts from empowered mindset.. and oh yea i recommend journaling daily. Because thats where your data on your mindset really is. He was right this shit is gonna take some time this is the REAL work that you know you been avoiding for a long time.

Hopefully I have some type of idea about my psychological make-up and how i can improve it to fit making money in the market!

All Explanation is good , I went through tons of videos on youtube by Rande and interacted with him on email. Read few books on trading. I though every time problem is fixed. my understanding and conclusion is this. It should help any trader.
    1) Trading is simple and those who understood positive trader equation are successful. 1+4-3=2 we should aim always at positive number over 100 + trades
    2) is similar to snakes and ladders we must not have big snakes in our trading system
    3) our brain works on autopilot mode once you are in trade autopilot takes over.
we must look at programs related to snakes in step 2.
if any one have any doubt on the I will be happy to explain in detail

@@pearlperlitavenegas2023 Thanks for the reply. There is a Rush song called Losing It. It sums up the human condition:
The dancer slows her frantic pace
      In pain and desperation
Her aching limbs and downcast face
      Aglow with perspiration
Stiff as wire, her lungs on fire
      With just the briefest pause
      The flooding through her memory
      The echoes of old applause.
      She limps across the floor
      And closes her bedroom door...
The writer stare with glassy eyes
      Defies the empty page
His beard is white, his face is lined
And streaked with tears of rage
Thirty years ago, how the words would flow
      With passion and precision
But now his mind is dark and dulled
      By sickness and indecision
And he stares out the kitchen door
Where the sun will rise no more
Some are born to move the world
      To live their fantasies
But most of us just dream about
The things we'd like to be
Sadder still to watch it die
Than never to have known it
For you, the blind who once could see
      The bell tolls for thee

Fear is very tough to master. As a pretty old guy starting out with this stuff, I can tell you that I did not really know myself at all. Fear was driving all my investment decisions. I would even go against my own tech analysis edge Just saying my knowledge is OK, and TA is pretty good, but would take the fear trade instead. Weird. I have not mastered my fear, but ask myself, before making a trade, 'what fear is driving this decision?'. Has kept me out of trouble.

amazing talk! Do not risk beyond 1% in any trade. always be afraid of the next trade. don't be overconfident. It all comes down to money management and losing your ego. keep finding faults within you and improve upon it, take notes after each trade. I value your talk, thanks so much
