(i am a t1 diabetic.) and after my mother got married, i slept all after that. and my dexcom kept reading high, and it was going higher. so i was at risk of ketosis. so i was brought straight away to the hospital during that night. and turns out i needed fluids right away to drain my kidneys. because turns out i guess i didnt drink enough water while i was sick. but afterwards, i finally came home at 2 am. but afterwards im okay! 😊

He only went into DKA once, 8 days before his 18th birthday, so he had to be placed in the children’s ICU. It was full of infants, then a tall kid with a beard, a tattoo & a mullet lol.. Now we keep Liquid IV and-or Drip Drops at my house, his house, all of our cars.. They are good for everyone to replenish what we are sweating out.. but the work quicker and taste better than a Gatorade.. Stay hydrated!!
