You my sir are a culinary genius. I watched your pickling video straight after and am now dead-set on trying this whole recipe out. Looks so delicious, I can almost smell it.
I tried this recipe, all, except the pickled cucumbers, but I have it on my list. I love the sauce. I started putting it on sandwiches too or eating it with chicken it is really good. The caramelized onions is now a must on my burgers, they are so delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't have luck with the burgers but I know it's like 100% my fault as I am really new to dough making. I am making the dough by hand. The first time I used all-purpose flour and thought the dough was too soft so I kept adding flour to it... waaaaay too much flour. The buns became beautiful, but they turned out a bit chewy. The second time I had bread flour and used less than last time, but I think I still might have added too much... I really should try to stick to the recipe (or use a machine so I don't feel it too soft). This time the buns turned out softer but this time they didn't rise enough (so I think I screwed up the amount of yeast). I'll try it again sometime, I just hope I get the feel for it, because everything else was really good.
I think the biggest issue with it is that it's a franchise that is pretending it isn't one. It's run like Subway but a lot less successful. So you'll have some local places that are just gonna have terrible food and just want the name associated with them and others that will go all out. It's a lot less consistent than like a five guys or mcdonalds
@@burgermeistercooking3913 i found one of the places open by me. I was gonn go but saw the prices. I rather go to five guys for $3 less.if it was the 6.99 i would go just to try it. Do you think its worth $10 for the one burger?
