I know this is an older video, but with my martial arts background I was applying many of the same principles you are describing. You articulate this very well. I hope to try take one of your classes in the near future.
Very crisply and clearly articulated. Good stuff. The breakdown of tasks-to-times is really helpful to me.
Your video editing is getting better Jedi, I totally thought that time said 3.7 at the end!
In all seriousness this is good info thanks man.
Jarod Rosson Haha. You know what you saw was real homie!
Great break down, and the tip about securing the new magazine first was a flash of *Jiu-Jitsu is everything" for me. A tip so simple the solves a problem or improves a technique I cannot believe I couldn't see it.
Thanks for this detailed breakdown.
Terrific info, thanks!
thank you, im going to recommend my friends to your courses 👍🏾
This is excellent content Jedi, thanks for putting it together, looking forward to eventually trying for a coin! from cold, shot 3 runs straight in the high 4 seconds the other day, but the first run had a slightly low headshot! Also I cheated by calling a mulligan for ammo conservation sake (always poor), but mechanically I am getting more confident in my ability to do this. Next up make it repeatable and then finally conquer the performance nerves/stage fright side of it.
Thanks For the info! Carry on
Great advice! More shooters need to see this.
Nice breakdown. Looking at each component part makes the totality seem much more achievable.
Piece of cake
;)
Thanks for the great content!
Simple but not easy! Great video!
Another great video. Love the "proof" at the end.
😂😂😂 “like they’re increasing the feet per second“. That’s funny. Thank you! I hope i can be just as fast some day.
That's awesome.
Another great video
You articulate information very well..good vid
Thanks man!
@@ModernSamuraiProject No BS...Great teacher quality there.
Great video
What if I do it?
Fantastic instruction. I came over from a recommendations from John at ASP and subbed!
Nice!
I've got my FAST time down to sub 7-seconds. These videos should help me get the rest of the way. Thanks!
Good vid!!
Excellent video breaking it down into baby bites.
I don’t see the point in the drill can someone explain. If I put 2 in the why would 4 to the chest on the same target make any difference? Also why is this drill so coveted. When there are so many better drills like the el pres? Is it because If you spend the money and try to compete you get a coin? I don’t understand.
Its just a feat of accomplishment my dude
Haha I did a video about how to breakdown the FAST drill. It’s the exact same breakdown. Great minds think alike I guess 🤘
Good video.
I have a Langdon class coming up. I’m debating whether to go for the pin which I know I can do, versus going for the coin. This may help.
Go for the coin!
Good video
I resemble that remark, but getting better about that
A song about irony that contains no irony is the most ironic.
I love my video of you made it into this video lol. Cant wait to see you again in a couple of weeks.
That 3.7 was outstanding
Honest question, not trolling: If the 3x5 card represents a human head, why isn't it common to orient it vertically? You always do an excellent presentation, inspiring indeed.
I feel like this is a legit question. If it was vertical, it would line up better to include the brain stem. Maybe it's oriented horizontally because that makes it more difficult for the follow up shot.
It’s not representing the entire head, but the cranial cavity which is the part of the headshot that counts.
@@alexanderchung6402 Also, eyes located there. Pretty effective.
If you want.
Make comments, I kind of wanted to
I hope you're still listening... my question is- you say a 1.5 and I got .5 split but I'm supposed to do that reload in two seconds or under... this is confusing for me can you explain? Right now my best so far is a 1.21 and about a .27-.37 split to 3x5 but I'm still trying to get my reload in under 2 seconds... do I misunderstand? At this point even at a 25 split for the remaining four I can't make my mark... Also I'm going from a Ragnarok T-Rex arms holster which means I have to add .2 regardless... Maybe I need to get that first shot off in
.7 to a 3x5 which seems superhuman... Although Tim Heron seems to do it...
You’re misunderstanding things.
1st shot to 3x5 card from draw is 1.5
2nd shot to 3x5 is a .5 split.
Reload which includes the 3rd shot in 2 seconds. Final 3 shots are in .25 splits.
Also in an open holster the goal is 4.5 not 5 seconds.
Spoken like a Jedi master
It's a 5.01 on your first attempt, isn't it ironic don't you think.
i've been following your videos and you are very knowledgeable but your sound on the videos are horribly low.
shitty mic & room audio....Top tear gun guy , bottom tear tech
Apologies. I will immediately refund what you paid to watch the video.
