  • Follow along as we change the edger blade on a Stihl KM 130 R. The same basic concept applies to all still edgers.

    Great tip, I do all my edging with a Stihl FC 91 Edger.

    Good video. I have the Kombi unit edger. Even with a new blade and head adjusted for maximum depth, I have to hold the engine up by my head (I am 5’ 6”). Are there shorter shafts for short people? Any ideas?

    Is that a Kombi unit or can you add that edger to any Stihl whipper snipper ?

    How do you know when to change the blade?

      When the blade gets short. The ends of the blade wear down, making it harder to keep the blade in the groove.

    A video like this only needed 2 things ... 1. put screwdriver in hole 2. Mention that screw is reverse threaded. This video should have been 30 seconds max.
