Thanks a million mate. You just saved me from grinding it off or running it over with my truck😂😂😂 it’s what you get when you don’t read the instructions
Good video. I have the Kombi unit edger. Even with a new blade and head adjusted for maximum depth, I have to hold the engine up by my head (I am 5’ 6”). Are there shorter shafts for short people? Any ideas?
Man I slammed my thumb down on that subscribe button. Great video, right to the point. I almost gave up and took my edger to the shop just to change the blade. But I got going now. Thanks man!
A video like this only needed 2 things ... 1. put screwdriver in hole 2. Mention that screw is reverse threaded. This video should have been 30 seconds max.
Glad I found this video!! Thank you! Struggled with this for a long time! Changed it in a couple of minutes today with no injuries! Lol. Thanks for the video.
Great tip, I do all my edging with a Stihl FC 91 Edger.

Great stuff man!! Any ideas on how to keep my throttle handle from binding?
Not sure. I had a Husqvarna that used to do that. Super annoying.

Glad you got it sorted out.
First off. Thank You. But You should mention that it’s reversed thread. I did not know about the hole to keep it from turning
Best explanation
Thank you!
Easy peasy appreciate it
Thank you 🙏
Where do you get your blades?
mowpart.com
Is that a Kombi unit or can you add that edger to any Stihl whipper snipper ?
It’s just an edger.
How do you know when to change the blade?
When the blade gets short. The ends of the blade wear down, making it harder to keep the blade in the groove.
