I was thinking exact same thing! Not a bike guy but a beautiful collection, and an awesome wife, I have two muscle cars, told my wife I wanted a third (because once you have one you pretty much want them all) and she was ready to publicly castrate me
Wow, simply wow. This is a couple that really lived life to the fullest. An example for so many hobbyists. It's so sad her husband has passed. RIP, good sir. Thank you for a great video.
Amazing collection of harleys & indians & a honda! Great to see the love & respect that lady shows on her husband's collection. And she owns some, too!
I love the Barn Find Hunter stories Tom brings to us viewers, the cars, the trucks, the stories but I have to say I really enjoyed this story of a man and his bikes. I am a bike guy and would love to see more stories like this. Thank Tom!!!
Tom, thanks again for bringing us these stories of great collections from around the nation. And thanks for those collectors who are willing to share a glimpse of their history.
I’m just overwhelmed, now there’s a couple who experienced a fun time. I know that Walter is right there as your Guardian Angel!!! Great Video and God Bless!!!
Walter was a great person, who would share stories, and gave the greatest advice on ANY bike. When you went to his shop, you had to set a few hours aside to hang and chat. He is sorely missed, but I'm sure he rides on in Heaven..
Good Lord!! I'm not a huge bike guy but this video was fascinating! She has a museum inside of her house. I can't even imagine what all of that is worth. Got to be in the 7 figure range. Especially that 1911 Harley
I was looking them up and I'm pretty sure one of them set a record selling for $935k. I'm not sure if it was the 1910 or 1911 but that's some crazy money. @@Cnhaddock
I absolutely LOVE her. The whole while, it was like listening to Cyndi Lauper, queen of the motorcycles. Her knowledge of the details about each car and bike. Sounds like she and her late husband had a great life together, doing things and going places they both enjoyed and she has all the rich memories of that life. Well done!
Wow!! I absolutely love that woman!! Wish she was my grandma!! This is the best episode ever in my book and I'm only half way through!! But bikes are my thing too! RIP big buddy Larry!
WOW is an understatement and what an amazing wife keeping that history alive. Times like this i hope places like "wheels through time" see things like this as they could potentially help her move on the bikes to museums etc if that's what she wanted, cause that is always my concern when some people pass away the amazing things they have get lost to time or sold for nothing. Thanks :)
What a beautiful story and what a lifetime Walter had with Kathy and the stuff he collected to preserve history of such beautiful bikes and cars the best UA-cam video I have ever watched thankyou Tom
These beautiful people were made for each other. I love her. He was a lucky guy for sure….I’m a New Yorker and am proud to say, these are really who we are, welcoming and smart, salt of the earth people. God bless them and their family.
I used to work at a motorcycle shop in California that specialized in vintage British bikes and flat track race bikes. Through that job, I got a chance to see an amazing collection. A gentleman in a local owners club had a collection of perfectly restored last model years of just about every British bike.
Excellent episode, Tom. I'm not much of a bike guy, but these were beautiful. What was even more impressive was the lady's knowledge of the bikes, and her mind was as sharp as a tack. Thanks for the great content
My lady, I am sorry for your loss. Judging by this collection, he was definitely an interesting man. I am thrilled to listen to your knowledge of the cars and bikes in your collection. seriously puts a big ol' smile on my face. You just rattle off details and years as easy as saying "the sky is blue with a few clouds" ...that is just amazing to me. I am the same type, my friends always tell me that I'm nuts when I point out some car or bike fact. I readily admit to being nuts but "that's still a 1964 Panhead next to that 1962 unibody Ford.. isn't it", usually quiets them down for a bit... Anyways ...You my Friend -- are an Amazing Soul-- I have never met you but, I am sure that I love You. Thank you for the generosity you've shown... by opening up your home, to show this wonderful collection to the world. I really enjoyed the diverse nature of the collection. Gotta say, I'm having a little garage envy out here ..and the 9 foot ceilings in my basement hmn..they don't feel quite so special anymore either.. LOL Again thank you for sharing your collection.. much love to you and yours keith
Your so right! I'm in Northern NJ and there is an early 50s Jaguar XK 120 Coupe in the garage of a split level house that looks like its been there 30 years. The garage door happened to be open that day!
The 1926 HD 'Boardtracker' doesn't look like something that started out as a competition motorcycle -- it's also had some modern modifications made to it that make it perhaps a bit more ridable but would negatively impact the bike's originality and value. No track bike of this period had a clutch - they were all direct drive. Someone has adapted that clutch pack to the bike. The frame and tank looks correct, but HD's factory racers of the period were 8 valve head models with open exhaust ports -- no pipes -- this motor looks like a sidevalve of earlier vintage. The competition bikes of the period for the Boards also had rigid front ends - this one has a small telescoping section and spring. Boardtrackers also had ribbed racing tires -- the knobbies would have been more appropriate for a dirt flat track bike. It's a cool motorcycle for sure, but it feels like something that somebody put together from bits, not a bike that left Milwaukee that way. :-(
7:14 Vincents never handled well. They were a great high speed touring bike, but don't take them to a road course and ask them to perform. Great show, Tom, I look forward to every episode!
Walter had purchased my grandfathers 1940/41 Indian with sidecar. It was light blue and white. Was hoping to see it in the video. Wish I knew where it was now I loved that bike as a child and one of the only memories I have of my grandfather
Great video, have you ever met Art who runs the dealership/collection in Bowling Green Kentucky, opposite the Corvette Museum ? That is a guy who needs his stories captured into a video !
SUPER CYCLE used to be a magazine in the 70's, & 80's. They even made a 2 cylinder, Chevy block push rod based aftermarket engine. That beet hell out of anything HD made.
Wonderful story. Wonderful woman. Fantastic collection. No mention of site to see bikes being sold. Would love to follow the story more. Is there a site to view them? Awesome
I know the boroughs are part of NYC but when people refer to it in this context I think they mean Manhattan. Plenty of classics in deep Brooklyn, Bronx, Queen, and Staten Island. Find me stuff below 120th St that someone will actually show you. Occasionally you catch a glimpse of something as a brownstone garage closes but most don't want you to know they have it. Stuff parked in Meat Packing outside the club doesn't count. Awesome story, collection, and people though!
Nice, but subtle, nod to Richard Thompson’s Vincent Black Lighting song!… But wow, I don’t know how anyone keeps track of all the specs on those bikes (and cars), but what a fun piece.
Would like a panoramic shot of the room then shots of the bikes from a distance then lastly the details. So many shots of super close ups with hardly any time spent showing the bikes in their entirety.
What an amazing woman, it's the most amazing feeling when you and your significant other have the same interests, it makes doing what you love even better. My gf is like that and its the mind-blowing
It’s really sad that she lost her husband, but what a wonderful video and collection!. I always loved motorcycles and as someone who wants to get into collecting, I have always been interested in old motorcycles. Some of my favorites are the 1950 triumph, matchless, thunderbird. Where would you recommend going to build such a collection or even to get spare parts?
im not into bicycles , but that was a great video, and that fella must of known some stuff about bikes. again what a great moment about a persons passion.
Not sure if there are more videos coming out in this series but while you are here on the east coast I'm hoping you visited Nick's Custom Cycles in Williamstown NJ 08094 . Nick is a gem & his collection , along with his knowledge is something that needs to be shared with the world.

My thoughts as well. He obviously picked the right girl to be his wife. What a great story.
LoL she's just protecting her inheritance now seen it so many times on this show before.....
Wow, simply wow. This is a couple that really lived life to the fullest. An example for so many hobbyists. It's so sad her husband has passed. RIP, good sir. Thank you for a great video.
A Vincent in the living room. That is something worth reaching for in life. Wow.
Liklely you do know of the song by Richard Thompson about the '52. Also it was covered by a sweet lass name of Beth Wood. Be well.
Cheers to Walter and Cathy for sharing their collection and Memories with us! 👍
Really enjoyed this one . What a wonderful collection and her love and respect for her husband was truly beautiful. Thanks for sharing your story
Absolutely one of the top episodes in a long time.
That garage and house are a museum in its own right.
OMG, this enthusiasm in so catchy. She know everything and has a passion talking about, the photos...You guys made my day with this one!
Amazing collection of harleys & indians & a honda! Great to see the love & respect that lady shows on her husband's collection. And she owns some, too!
He was a lucky guy to have such a loving partner. His passion clearly rubbed off on her. I bet he was an amazing dude.
I love the Barn Find Hunter stories Tom brings to us viewers, the cars, the trucks, the stories but I have to say I really enjoyed this story of a man and his bikes. I am a bike guy and would love to see more stories like this. Thank Tom!!!

I’m 6 minutes in and I’m just covered with chill bumps. What a collection and what a love story.
How adorable is she.. you can tell she knew most of this stuff from memory of him talking/explaining it. You did good! Great story 🥹🫡
Walter was a great person, who would share stories, and gave the greatest advice on ANY bike. When you went to his shop, you had to set a few hours aside to hang and chat. He is sorely missed, but I'm sure he rides on in Heaven..

Weirdly i've seen 1911 harleys in very good condition for less than 25k. A lot of collectors just aren't into them it seems.
I was looking them up and I'm pretty sure one of them set a record selling for $935k. I'm not sure if it was the 1910 or 1911 but that's some crazy money. @@Cnhaddock
Wonderful lady and wonderful story. Thank you for sharing this, Tom and Company!

Amazing collection. Im a biker for last 35 years so i love these old bikes. I hope to have one of these in the future and to restore it 😊
Fantastic! A life well lived & a legacy that lasts! RIP Walter.
Wow, what an incredible collection and a touching story about a man with an unquenchable passion. ❤

I commend that woman on all of her knowledge about all those different makes & models of all motorcycles & cars! just fascinating👍
I'm always amazed at these finds and the stories, unbelievable.
This is the best episode in a long time and I’m not a motorcycle guy.
Excellent episode, Tom. I'm not much of a bike guy, but these were beautiful. What was even more impressive was the lady's knowledge of the bikes, and her mind was as sharp as a tack. Thanks for the great content
So sorry for her loss, Beautiful lady, beautiful collection.
The motorcycle episodes are some of my favorite. This guy had a nice collection.

How lovely this woman is it's a surprise só much precious motorcycle together.
Are we going just not going to talk about that wild turkey wondering around the front yard?
That’s what I was thinking. Thought he was still in North Carolina for a minute.
Great episode Tom. Her accent made it sound like she was saying pinhead instead of panhead.
im not into bicycles , but that was a great video, and that fella must of known some stuff about bikes. again what a great moment about a persons passion.
I've heard that they're algorithm killers, so a huge thanks for the bike episode!
