Don't mix the pasta and sauce like that. Put in the pasta into the pan with the sauce and mix over the heat. Otherwise you get a separated and less tasty sauce and pasta

Yes, AP flour can be used as a thickener. Into a pot, equal parts flour and fat (butter, olive oil, etc) cook it down for a few mins 4-5 mins, then add your choice of stock/ water, then you can add the rest of the cooked mushrooms+ aromatics into that pot.
Or you can simply add less milk so it thickens and absorbed easily and wont be watery. Or use plant based cream if vegan
@@ylduygu Milk isn’t going to thicken easily by itself, but yeah, most recipes just use cream. I guess there isn’t an easy vegan cream substitute?

Made this. Turned out delicious. I have also added some fish sauce that could add some umami for the depth in flavor. However, could you tell for how long did you cook the sauce to turn brown? Mine still looks like its pale brownish cream color.

Thyme might be a little bitter for me to eat like that. I prefer to stir fry in the oil for a little bit and remove later.
It’s OK. I guess you have to be a vegan to really love it. Fresh creme, no nutmeg, and cloves, fresh crushed garlic, some pepper, imo, tastes x10 better. Pasta looks amazing though.

I’d be careful about snipping full thyme stems onto the food. The stems are toothsome, and difficult to chew. It would be much better/safer to just peel the leaves off the stems.

@theraVen27 Oatmilk is made of oats (a cereal). I prefer regular milk but lactose intolerance can prevent people from consuming it.
