A very good, clear concise description on every stage which was easy to follow. I've had a go making several teapots, this guide would have been used well and will booked at again next time I make a teapot. Thanks for sharing
Hi Florian! I am a beginner in this wonderful field of pottery and found your channel a week or two ago. You are amazing. There are dozens of UA-cam channels devoted to pottery and clay in general but none quite like yours. You are consistent, clear, informative and really, really helpful. You are appreciated!
You really best yourself in each video. These graphics show the delightful balance of the angles and curves in your pieces, that give 'form' to your very own particular style. They must be a big additional work load on you.
I live in the mountains in northern Italy and there are no pottery classes here. You are a lifesaver, I’ve learnt so much from your videos. Thank you very much :)
I’ve just discovered your videos! Thank you! I’m currently in school learning ceramics and hope it’s ok to try some of your techniques 😊 I have a question though. Any tips on tapping to center? I’m struggling with that. Having a hard time getting my leather hard pieces centered to trim. You make it look so easy!
Wow, what an inspiring video 😍. can you make a video of the process of shooting, and photographing your pots? it will be very helpful 🙏🏼 your production level is Great!!! 👌🏼😱💯😍
Oh my god dude, the production value and content of the videos is reaching the level of professional courses. And its for FREE. Thanks for everything you do Also, 0:46 "Ass cracks"?
I love these as well. I do have a question, though: do you balance the clay and/or geometry a certain way so they're not too easy to tip over if knocked? I have two little brothers who are visually impaired, so all the dishes and glassware in my house have wide or heavy bases because they're less likely to tip over if they accidentally knock into them. Thank you. Keep 'em coming.
I've watched several other tutorials in teapot making. Lots of potters out a hole in the lid so that it pours well. I never did that in my day and I see that you don't either. Is the hole philosophy true?
Do you dry your pieces longer before trimming because you have carbide tools? I've noticed if I wait too long, I cannot burnish the body any longer, which can give me pinholes in my glaze. I noticed your bodies had a similar rough exterior surface.

Have you ever covered where you studied in Japan? I lived in Ehime for a couple of years, but it was before I'd got into pottery. Matsuyama has a style of pottery there specific to the area, and I never bothered checking it out...
I usually love your aesthetic but find the top of your teapot to be out of proportion to the rest of the form (too large and thick). I was wondering if there was a functional reason for that that I don't understand. I appreciate that it is your design but just always wondered about this. Thanks for your amazing videos.
I love the way this guy talks, it's highly soothing. I swear his voice and way of speaking alone is gently lulling me to sleep.
Wonderfully illuminating, clear but detailed description, Excellent videography, In the hands of a master. Thank you J Robert Seebacher MD
The way you pull the clay is stunning. Such a difficult thing, but you make it look so simple.

Fantastic, rarely have I watched a more completely through explanation, everything from A-Z, thank you!

Amazing video again 👏
And it's the humility of the artist that he doesn't consider himself a master yet. To me you are a Master 😊

Nice work Florian, thanks for the demo. Where did you get the nylon spinner? I would love to find one of those.
