Great casting. Eisenbergs Luther was developed strangely. Luther was a small frantic villain who couldn’t get along socially. I think Holt can really bring the intensity, and Gunn can write a script. I’m hoping we can have the ensemble slow walk sequences cut down a bit, there was like 4 of them in the suicide squad.
He's a very good choice, and I can see him in the role. I disagree with you on casting, tho. In comic book movies, especially ones where the characters are almost universally known and beloved, like Superman, you have to go for the look first, and hope the actor steps up to the challenge. After all, it's not Shakespeare. Famous actors charge top dollar to star in superhero movies, so they can afford to charge barely anything to star in the Indie movies they really want to act in. Henry Cavill looked liked Superman, but he's not a great actor. But, he has a strong screen presence, and that's just as important. Few people would have called John Wayne a great actor (True Grit aside), but he was the biggest star in the world for 30 years. Good thing Legacy is getting the best of both worlds. Good, to great, actors who also look the part. ❤✌
