    I used to like soda more but the older I get the more I react like you did at the end.

      Exactly, nowadays I find these raspberry sodas extremely sweet, I was shocked. 😣 😂

    Hey Mr. B - nice vid - have one question though - when I export (in Pr) a 20 sec 4K clip (155mb) as "Animated gif" - I get a 3.5GB .gif file 😳 - what do I do wrong ? 🙃

    • @botvidsson
      @botvidsson  4 місяці тому +2

      Sounds like the same for me when exporting from Photoshop. You can't do a gif that long and stay away from 4K.
      I still have not figure out the best way to make a small high quality GIF but I used this online tool: www.adobe.com/express/feature/video/convert/video-to-gif
      It's not perfect but kind of okay for now. Still testing....

      @@botvidsson Thanks B - I'll try that converter 🙂
      But, I also divided the 4K by 3 in dimensions and got a decent result, however the file size is still quite big = 175MB ........

      Gif is compressed 256 colours (mapped colours also) format who was created in 1980-90.
      It was created to have small pictures like icons or another photo 320x240 pixels.
      Some time after they add animation capabilities of gif to have small animated icons on internet pages. This did format .gif so popular.
      Nowadays it's better use MP4 or webp format for small video of FHD format (1920x1080px or 4K).
      MP4 use jpeg compression who is far better for photo as .gif with poor depth of colours 16 millions for MP4 vs only poor 256 for gif format)

      @@marek_vanco_photo Yes, I know that GIF is an incredibly outdated format, but at the same time it's a bit fun and challenging to try to make it look good with only 256 colors. Another reason, for me, is that I can't add video formats that loop in my simple Adobe portfolio, of course it would be best with video.
