I think this toy is in the clear, it wasn’t promoted with saying that it’s main feature is the Konami code. But it would like your take on this as well

The sounds are, specifically, the Jump, Superball (from Super Mario Land), Coin, and Power-Up sounds, in that order.
Clearly the people who worked on making this played classic retro games and wanted to add something special for game fans

We have the same toy for my kids, and if you cycle through the different generic songs, you’ll notice that they’re musical structure and melodies are nods (not copies) to known games. The ones I recognized as clear nods were The Legend of Zelda main theme, the Gameboy Tetris theme, a Mega Man theme, & Kirby’s theme “Green Greens”.
