Man with fear of sharks dives dave
I still remember him playing far cry 3 and gliding out to sea to a boat, only to realize 1) he was going to fall short and 2) there was a big shark symbol on the map.

@@terakahn Right up there with TB doing commentary next to a stream just before being mauled by an allegator and screaming the entire time.
This is one of those games that's just Jesse-coded, I feel, to a point. His reactions to the cutscenes were basically all I wanted out of it, and I can rest happy.

I really appreciate when Jesse reads the dialogue, I usually watch these videos while I am working so its nice to not have to look over and read dialogue.
Jesse is the only game advertising that has ever really worked on me. His boundless, genuine enthusiasm combined with his infuriating (but charming) incompetence has made me buy so many games over the years, going back over a decade. Guess this is just another one on the list.
Oh boy, another game where reading instructions is key. Well, better sit back and get ready for Jesse to only read half of them! lol

Edit: I was wrong! Seeing Jesse miss 90% of his shots, completely ignore the damage numbers appearing and assuming fish he doesn't 1 hit kill are invincible, and of course ignoring most of the instructions... it's not relaxing at all!

the more non-lethally caught the fish the better the stars equals more meat.
So don't slash the fish and try shooting the fish several times?
@@flamedance58 Kinda using the harpoon will get you a two star fish if you manage to catch it with it, the net gun, tranq gun/ tranq weapon, tranq harpoon will get you a 3 star fish which is the best which will get you the most meat and the 3 star marina card.
Of course bigger prey you'll need the drone for.
I love how I'm watching this for chillness while I do some FF14 and have a certain NPC in a certain MSQ dungeon go "Damn you Ascian!" as Jessie is sitting there after his last death. XD
One of my favorite UA-camrs playing one of my favorite games, I've waited for this moment. I can't wait to watch the entire series
So glad that Jesse is playing this extremely fun and good game! The cutscenes are one of my favorite parts of DtD & seeing his positive reactions to them is fabulous. Rly looking forward to when the restaurant starts getting special guests, so I hope he sticks with this long enough to clear a few more chapters

I saw the short and was asking when Jesse played divin' Dave. Here is my answer.
I laughed when the shark he had been looking for came into view and he completely turned around and didn't find it for the rest of the episode. Very funny. 😂

wanting to do everything all at once is why i dont play games like this ... i want that power fantasy of being able to go beyond what the game wants me to (its also why i play 'survival games on casual -- that and i play video games to have fun not get my ass beat every 3 seconds)
