This is one of those games that's just Jesse-coded, I feel, to a point. His reactions to the cutscenes were basically all I wanted out of it, and I can rest happy.

Jesse is the only game advertising that has ever really worked on me. His boundless, genuine enthusiasm combined with his infuriating (but charming) incompetence has made me buy so many games over the years, going back over a decade. Guess this is just another one on the list.
I really appreciate when Jesse reads the dialogue, I usually watch these videos while I am working so its nice to not have to look over and read dialogue.
Oh hell yeah this is gonna be a relaxing thing to watch xD Edit: I was wrong! Seeing Jesse miss 90% of his shots, completely ignore the damage numbers appearing and assuming fish he doesn't 1 hit kill are invincible, and of course ignoring most of the instructions... it's not relaxing at all!
I am so freaking happy that you're playing this. I hope you have a blast, Jesse! And as being someone who always uses a controller, you might need one for this adventure. For your best game, please try not to kill anything! They're more valuable when captured and brought back fresh.
I love how I'm watching this for chillness while I do some FF14 and have a certain NPC in a certain MSQ dungeon go "Damn you Ascian!" as Jessie is sitting there after his last death. XD
I adore this game so much. LOL Jesse's reaction to Duff was excellent. Oh he didn't know he could modify the menu while they're open. I never noticed before but that was an actual shot of the sea people village. I didn't remember that by the time I got there. "There's a whole new mechanic?!" Welcome to dave the diver every 5 minutes. "now I wish I found the shark" He actually did on that dive, but he didn't see it lol
So glad that Jesse is playing this extremely fun and good game! The cutscenes are one of my favorite parts of DtD & seeing his positive reactions to them is fabulous. Rly looking forward to when the restaurant starts getting special guests, so I hope he sticks with this long enough to clear a few more chapters

I love when this game came out I wasn't too interested but a bit curious. Now actually seeing it, I need this game in my life. Nothing like a chill game you can partially tune out with while listening to a podcast or show. Perfect relaxer between work and responsibilities
@@flamedance58 Kinda using the harpoon will get you a two star fish if you manage to catch it with it, the net gun, tranq gun/ tranq weapon, tranq harpoon will get you a 3 star fish which is the best which will get you the most meat and the 3 star marina card. Of course bigger prey you'll need the drone for.

wanting to do everything all at once is why i dont play games like this ... i want that power fantasy of being able to go beyond what the game wants me to (its also why i play 'survival games on casual -- that and i play video games to have fun not get my ass beat every 3 seconds)
