- What unfortunate situation did Cameron find himself in now?
We are refitting (or maybe rebuilding?), at this point, a 1975 CHB Tri-cabin Trawler boat! It's in a lot worse shape than we ever imagined, but we are gaining on the project list. We want this boat to see the water again and be loved by this family. One thing at a time, one day at a time, we inch closer and closer! Follow our journey!

I am impressed with the size of that tank and where it was stuffed. Oh the joys of boat ownership, not a fun clean up job.

Thats was a messy smelly job well done for doing it that was a job that had to done so what are the plans a holding tank repair the old one or composting toilets
We really like the idea of composting toilets and are for sure not ruling them out in the future. It was a group decision to stick it out with the holding tank (repair)
I know it’s probably a mute point, but you can get a 25 gallon pvc holding tank that is not permeated with 40 years of waste at Defender Marine for about $300. No muss. No fuss. No stench. Just a little wisdom from someone who has been in your shoes.

We looked into new tanks. But we really liked how nicely this one fits in the space and to get a poly tank with similar design was going to be $$.
