I just binge watched all of the episodes. You guys are doing an amazing job. My father has a 36' 1985 Mainship Aft Cabin he has owned since 1987 and its starting to need some work. This is giving me some motivation to help my 81 year old dad to fix it back up again. I love these trawler style boats. We started boating in 1980 and those memories as a kid are with me still to this day. Your children are going to build some fantastic lifetime memories aboard Lady Hawk. You should be very proud for what you have done here.
Wow, thank you so much! We are very proud (and tired!) of this project, but the memories we will make will be so worth it! Whitney has many fond memories on a boat as a child too, something we can only hope we can pass on to our children. I will tell you one thing about your dad's boat... it will likely be more work than you think, but in the end you will be happy you did it! Thanks for the encouragement!
Yes, it was a needed upgrade for us! Ours had caused so much damage in the aft cabin over the years. I do miss the look of the teak double doors though... but water intrusion wins in this case!
Not only is the the most detail oriented, she’s also “snack size” so she fits in that small window area! 😂❤ Love you guys!

The door by the helm looks like a million bucks.
Thank you so much!! Cameron did a great job refinishing it!

Inch by inch
Step by step
That's exactly what it feels like! One inch at a time!
I like the new single rear hatch and door. I'm looking at the same idea to lessen the chance of water intrusion.
