- Finally the teak woodwork gets some love! It's about time we let the beauty shine through! Lots of sanding, patience, and hours spent on this project.
We are refitting (or maybe rebuilding... at this point) a 1975 CHB Tri-cabin Trawler boat! It's in a lot worse shape than we ever imagined, but we are gaining on the project list. We want this boat to see the water again and be loved by this family. One thing at a time, one day at a time, we inch closer and closer! Follow our journey!

She is looking great like a new boat well done with all the hard work you have done its paying off 😊😊😊😊
Thank you! We think so too!
You two have done such a fantastic job with that boat!
Thank you so much!
Woodwork looks fab great job,
Thank you!
The finish on sliding cabin door looks fantastic! I've had good luck with Cetol and maintenance to me seems pretty easy. I hope you find it that way also.
Hey, thanks!! Great to hear! We really hope the maintenance is easy too!
I think what makes maintenance easy is you just need to scuff the wood with a scotchbrite pad before top coating. Still need to clean the wood just like any other paint project but scuffing with a scotchbrite pad is fast then a coat or two every year. It is also easy to touch up dings. Ladyhawk will look so nice I am sure you'll come across people that will think you have a Grandbanks.
Looking great! I need you to come sand and coat my teak! 😁
Haha! Too soon, too soon!
