Drums are much too prominent in the live mix and drowns out her vocals, you can see her look over at him a few times, not his fault, the backstage roadies need to sort it, but she gets on with it.
I agree with others that this would be better indoors, and the Kate Bush cover is a bit rushed.

The drums are mixed high in Kate Bush's RUTH too, so I don't mind that, but the sound is kind of muffled and muddy overall, too many reflections and not enough sound outside the mid-range. She sings like she's holding back here, probably the onstage monitors were also not great, but maybe that's just her style. A rushed RUTH works for me here as an interpretation and to up the contrast with the other song.

Since hearing Silhouette a few weeks ago I can't stop playing it. What a beautiful song. The line about a man with a child in his eyes somewhere on the album gave it away. I wasn't expecting a cover of Running Up That Hill though.
She would be better suited to an indoor concert hall, the highest class of them all. Outdoors doesn't really work for her I feel.
Having seen her live in Bristol, I agree. There, she sounded every bit as good as on records.
It does work. But indoors works better.
