A lot of people have been talking about the song's use in Stranger Things, and it's great that people are getting turned onto it again. It was used previously in a 1989 film called The Chocolate War (silly title, great film), which I highly recommend. I was lucky enough, and old enough to get into it when it was first released as a single in '85. I'm glad it keeps getting attention, and I guess the cycle will come around again in another few years.
Placebo's cover was used in the O.C. also (after a significant event)
I first heard this song, Placebo's version, on Bones with Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz.
This band is an enigma how can one be so little known in North America but be huge stars in the rest of the world
This proves that there an amazing band and that our society is stupid
America is often so incredibly insular, my friend...look at their "big three" sports as a perfect example & how much disdain most Americans hold for "the world game", "the beautiful game", football...
Best wishes from "Down Under"...hope you're staying both safe & sane at present...Matt.
I’m from the US and I love Placebo
@@lavielemond not to mention they don’t really know about cricket or rugby either
@@mayscough72 Amen, my friend...while I'm not up for thugby, I'm a lifelong cricket fan & former player...
@@lavielemond thugby 😂😂 can’t beat a spot of cricket in the summer sun although these days I’m only a spectator knees are shot from playing the aforementioned thugby
Siempre se me eriza la piel cada vez que la escucho... Déjame robarte este momento... No quiero pensar en nada más
Awesome band covering an awesome music artist 😊❤️☀️🎶🎶🎶

Siempre en mi 🖤 Placebo ... 2020
Pr moi, ce titre le sumnun, car trop proche de mon ancienne vie heureuse...mais tous les autres morceaux aussi ç de la haute voltige..sublime
Love this. So much
Looking forward to seeing them performing this in London this month!!!
Awesome!! Got my tix for US show in April 2023!!
The best band ever... Ever... Ever.. 💖💖🙏
Difference between that cover and the original is that Placebo's version doesn't need 'Stranger Things', in order to be fully appreciated. That song + 'Life's what you make it' are over their originals, anytime, anywhere.
This is a great cover of a great song. Do you like the song? Then what's the problem.
Love Placebo and their rendition of this classic! Also loving the woman on keyboard ❤️
Amazing version! I'm speechless! Placebo 4 ever! ❤
I get obsessed with Placebo version 2023 2024
Hermosa bandera Argentina . Aguante placebo!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@Attack126 la ultima vez placebo anduvo en latinoamerica debio ser entre los años 2017 y 2018, de seguro pronto vendran, que suerte tienen en españa.
Kate Bush is an icon of British music and they did an amazing job,she doesn't just let anyone cover her songs
I forgot Placebo covered this! I remember the Kate Bush original from being a young child, such a haunting song.
Listening to this, I fully expect Disturbed to cover it on their next album 😂
Listen to Meg Myers Version 😁
